Was staying in Nice and went to Cannes by train for the evening. As it started to rain we went into the first restaurant. It was OK, a bit pricey. The food was fresh and the staff very friendly, area was a little quite.

In Gray D'Albion complex. High end tea on sunny spring afternoon post shopping. Cakes were works of art-expensive but worth price. Service personal and attentive. Obvious frequented by local regulars but can see why. Smart decor, relaxed contemporary vibe with excellent food and service.
