Feels like a small English territory. Food is great, portions are good. Service is fine, in a very cosy and traditional atmosphere.

Very English and pretty, nice place for a quiet chat. It's not cheap but the servings are huge. Well-placed not far from Palais des Papes but it's a bit sombre and they won't serve near closing time.

After a tiring walk round the Pope's Palace this Cafe offers the perfect afternoon sanctuary and the most fabulous tea and cake. We had lemon meringue pie and pear cake. Huge portions warmed up. I couldn't stop talking about it for the next 24 hours

Suggest you book or get there early as very popular with locals and advised by accommodation . Food was really tasty and plentiful , the dessert table holds all the favourites and again plentiful . I saw takeaway dessert boxes so locals pick up their treats as well. Inside is cosy and packed so enjoyed outside table ..seemed to be... More

After a morning sight seeing in Avignon, we wandered into this place for lunch, located on a quiet street. We sat outside on the sidewalk. We both ordered salads; mine was so large that I didn't eat a real dinner that night. I ordered chicken salad. In the US, that means a mixture of chicken, mayonnaise and perhaps some celery... More

Situated quite centrally, this is a delightful place to enjoy some tea and cake (or whatever else they happen to be offering at the time). There is an interior with a few tables and cakes on display, but most of the seating is on the pavement. There is some traffic but it is a side street so not too busy.... More

We went to this place based on reviews online. The set up itself was great but the food was simple superb. The plate was big and set so well. The plate was extremely colour coordinated. I wouldn't call this place a plain English tea house since this is indeed a tea house with a French twist to the food served.... More

We went there 2 times during the festival. They serve nice salads and classical stuff like scones, bacon & eggs. Everything is fresh, hearty. The waiters are friendly. Just and advice : look 1st at the dessert table before to order your main course...otherwise, you will have to come back for it.

We went to the quaint little English style place for lunch. What amazing food! The serves are very large, with a modern French twist on traditional English dishes. The desserts are to die for. An extra bonus is that it isn't too pricey. Service is fine an the staff could understand our terrible French.
