I want to start by saying that we've been several times in Japan and this is in no way a Japanese restaurant, since service and reception is the most important part of a restaurant. Plus the owners/ waiters are not Japanese. We just came back from dinner at Niji Express, what a disappointment!!! It's very sad, because the food quality... More

I've been there several times in the last few years, the Korean barbecue always have been delicious! The meat is of great quality and very thinly sliced, and the sushi are fresh and made in front of you, as it should be :-)

If you are looking for a change this is the place. The California roll was delicious and so was the Oki dish with miso soup and skewers. I wish we would have ordered more sushi as it looked too delicious and fresh to pass up. That was my only regret. Please try this place, I don't think you will be... More

As a solo diner I was awkwardly told to sit in a certain sit and no other in a row of four. No problem. Japanese rice crackers were offered as an aperitif and as soon as I put one in my mouth over came the waiter to take my order. To cut a long story short, from the moment I... More

Very good authentic Japanese food made freshly. The excellent service and intimate nature of the restaurant make it an excellent choice

We passed by this restaurant on our first night in Aix-en-Provence, but could not eat there because we did not have a reservation and the restaurant was small and full that night. We booked for the next night and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish. We had a generous entree of tempura and sashimi that was very... More

The best meal I had while visiting Aix. The Food was so fresh and tasty, and reasonably priced. Portions are fairly big for the price I paid, and yet the quality is excellent. Do try their tempura ice cream, truly good ending to a lovely meal.

The sushi is super fresh and tasty, and the desserts are delicious, go for the Banana Beignets. Great experience in Aix!

A very good menu for the price. Sushi and sashimi delicious. Fresh fish and well cooked soups. Friendly and good service. Atmosphere and toilet a bit poor.

Great food, great service. Small restaurant so need to book. Menu is varied so there's something for everyone. Went there with my parents, my father wasn't enthused by my decision to go Japanese, now this is is the only place he wants to eat in Aix! Everything is delicious and so much choice. Do yourself a favour and go!
