Our favorite Indian (or any other) restaurant in Milwaukee, WI is Maharaja. Therefore when we travel we frequently hit Indian restaurants of the same name and have not been disappointed. Here we are in Aix en-Provenance and we find Le Maharaja. Here 3 days with only so much time for meals at many restaurants, we eat at Le Maharaja twice.... More

What a nice evening and the restaurant was full, but the service was excellent, the chef is from Bangladesh so the food was full of spice and I opted for the spicy options, also KINGFISHER beer which is great Indian beer.. all round good time and left happy full ... bill was €200 for 5 + wine

Nice place, beautifully decorated. Good atmosphere, polite and helpful service. The food was also good. The dessert was a bit disappointing. I ordered halwa and it was a tasteless weird cake ... other than that, a good experience.

I always take the spice beef curry! I love it so much! Also the lentils are very tasty! Just the best restaurant for me. However, I am not very keen about their pastries! Oh! I almost forgot to tell you about the drink... they make a fresh home made Shikanji, which you can also ask without alcohol! Don't miss it!

We vacation in Aix en Provence this summer for several weeks and upon first arrival at this restaurant, we were surprised we did not find our favorite Indian dish, butter chicken, in the menu. We decided to ask our server if they could make it for us and they were thrilled to! It was utterly fantastic. We dined here 4-5... More

We struggled to find the right Indian resto in Aix and settled for this place since they had a table. They had a table because the dining room is huge. Food was all right, predictable Northern Indian cuisine, good service, good prices.

The food is average and bland for an Indian taste. The staff is extremely snobbish. We ordered dal taraka , chicken makhani and naan for take away. While we sat we wanted to enjoy tea and pakoras but were refused to serve. We infact were asked to stand outside to pick up food.

Food is average. Service is also average. Little bit on the expensive side. The photos doesn't reflect the actual size of the dish too much smaller than it looks 40€ doesn't get to persons full
