Stopped here for lunch whilst following a walking tour of Honfleur (map obtained from the Tourist Office). There was a quirky retro vibe by way of decor and furniture throughout the cafe. Enjoyed a Croque Monsieur which was served with a generous portion of chips and a nice side salad. Washed down with coffee and a jug of tap water.... More

I have never met such a rude and arrogant barman as the one we found in this bar. We were a group of 12 golfers, so our value to the bar was potentially good. The first night we spent there was fine, because there were a couple of very pleasant girls working the bar, the second was a different matter.... More

Popped in for lunch as we were busy and wanted to avoid the touristy cafes around the marina. We both had the croque chevre and the monsieur. I've been eating these in France for 30 years and these are the best I've had. Everything on the menu is home made so perfect! Only 8 euros each and that includes fries... More

Great spot to grab a drink and people-watch. Gorgeous views of the harbor. Servers were always attentive, but never rushed us.

Enticed to this cafe after hearing great music from the street. We ordered our first drinks and everything was fine - music and vibe was great. I then ordered a 2nd round of drinks, and the barman proceeded to fill my beer (1664) into my original glass. I complained and wanted a fresh glass. He then made a big fuss... More

After eating our evening meal by the harbour, we came across this bar with a live Jazz trio playing. Although we are not huge jazz fans the playing was of a really high quality, so for the price of a drink we spent an hour or so till "something to 12" listening to some great jamming. The second night we... More

It was good to find a place serving 'snack' lunch (I had a lovely omelette) rather than just full-on meals. We sat outside in a 'booth' on the pavement and were well placed for people and boat watching. Until the big food delivery van parked up in front of us, engine running, delivering frozen fries and tubs of cream to... More

We were satisfied with the quality and quantity of the 17 euro two course menu. Sitting outside was another pleasant aspect to the meal. The assiette pecheur entree consisted of two excellent large oysters, some sea snails and prawns served with vinaigrette and mayonnaise. The avocado prawn entrée was also very nice. My main course of moules frites was a... More
