The place was packed so we thought it was a nice spot to go to. Once we sat done we realized that the had TVs on with loud music making it quite unpleasant. We were cold so just decided to put up with it. The waiter was rude and impatient. The pizza had a hole in it, the crepes' batter... More

We did lunch here as our young kids live on spaghetti. Service was good and also child friendly waiters. The adult pizzas were good quality and we had no problems. The kids menu food was also enjoyed and good value. No complaints and happy to recommend. Probably €60 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Fair value.

With a few hours to kill before sailing home from Dieppe, we decided to spend some time in Honfleur. We had previously visited several years ago so knew the layout of the town. After a substantial breakfast we skipped lunch, opting for a meal at around 6.00 pm. Unfortunately most restaurants don't serve dinner until 7.00 pm, although one advertised... More

Our family ordered different courses. The mussels were okay, but the pizzas were rather unpleasant. Bit of a shame for an Italian restaurant to serve a pizza that you need spoons to eat. No worries about the service, nice people and the view is great, but the very meal was not of a great character.

I wasn't quite sure where've was eating.. Pizza Gino or Ancora.. anyway, it doesn't matter as it wasn't enjoyable at all. The service was bad, the waiter was far too familiar as though we went to school with him, and started to get on our nerves. The food also left much to be desired.. would we go back? No thanks!!

We are here for a few days and decided to have a mussels before we leave Honfleur. As it looks nice eating on an open space facing the old harbour. The attitude of the waiters here are not so good they make you wait and sometimes would not really even bother to look at you even you try to waive... More

Fantastic location in a lovely city. We ended up here after walking around in the centre of Honfleur and the experience was great.

It was our first night in Honfleur and a lot of the restaurants were already busy so as we all wanted pizza we chose pizza gino although the name is Ancora outside. Wish we had read some of the reviews before going there. The waiters were more interested in watching the football that was being screened on televisions in the... More

My eldest daughter wanted to go here because it was "Italian". We were greeted with a shrug and the service continued in the same style throughout. My laminated menu had a dead mosquito squashed inside it, the 7 Euro glass of Bordeaux was very small, food was average to disappointing and the overall experience wasn't one we'd want to repeat.
