Came here because of the good reviews. Atmosphere was good and the staff attentive. We both had the salad and goat cheese starter which was fine. However, my seabass main was disappointing: caramel and ginger sauce; I thought, "this will be clever with the sauce based on ginger with a hint of caramel": no! It's caramel sauce and ginger like... A lovely, elegant restaurant in the center of the beautiful town of Bayeux. Professional service and delicious food, with fair pricing made this a lovely dining experience. Very non-touristy ......

While staying in Bayeux, we went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our guide. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in this small restaurant. Make a reservation- it was packed. Intimate setting with attentive service. There was someone on staff who could assist with the menu. Start with an apple aperitif. Anything apple, including Calvados, is a specialty of the Normandy region. This town was spared bombing, so there are multiple buildings dating back to... More

First, this restaurant was pleasant and food was excellent. Unfortunately they simply don't have good options for children (unless your kids love seafood, lamb or oysters)and no children's menu with children size potions. That said, they are happy to split meals and this is what we did for our children. I don't recall the name of what we ordered It... More

For me this has been the best restraint in Bayeux, incl the top ones. Very clean and comfortable place. Very fast service which is extremely rare in Bayeux restraints. The food has been spectacular, we ordered snails, mussels, lamb, were delighted by everything! And to our surprise the final bill was less than at all other places we ate before,... More

We had our second night dinner at Le Pommier. It did not disappoint. Food was excellent and service was very good. It was a very popular restaurant and glad we had reservations. Prices were good.

Really good food and a wonderful apple tart if offered that night. Highly recommended. Don't go if you expect a "30 minutes and done" dinner. Dining experience and food quality at very fair prices is why you want to be there. Highly recommended.

We had a delightful dinner with a good choice of wines. As might be expected, the menu features regional specialties which were well prepared. Friendly staff.

We enjoyed local cheeses, slow-cooked veal, tasty duck and seasonal vegetables at a quiet table in this lovely restaurant. Not sure what the spreadable amuse bouche was, but it was delicious!

The owners Isabelle and Thierry Lhuillery are strongly attached to the region, which displays lot's of famous specialities. Their cooking is both original and typical.
The owners know pretty well the local producers, with whom they have been working for many years. When the ingredients are cooked, it is always in the respect of their original flavour, only spices and fresh herbs are added in order to make the best come out of them.
Enjoy eating fresh sea food straight from the coast; try our daily raw marinated fish course, or a slice of duck foie gras flavoured with apple fragrances.
Don't miss our Normandy beef and duck breast, or our delicate fish dressed with a light cream dressing.
Do not also go by, without tasting our local cheeses such as : Camembert, Pont L’Eveque, Livarot or Neufchatel.
And finally to put a pleasant end to this perfect meal try a chaudfroid apple dessert...
It will be our pleasure to help you choosing in our wine and cider list the most appropriate beverage.
