In a small space and with a limited but interesting menu, Jour de marche offers everything I admire about modern French dining. We were told at our hotel that the ingredients here are bought in for the day. Certainly they were fresh. The owners have travelled and can assist with English translations if some words on the menu escape you.They... More

We came here by mistake really enjoyed the dinner! Chef offered us alternative for the side dish that we couldn't eat. Never had such a tasty asparagus dish! Very good service very pleasant people!

We received great service at this small place, friendly and polite (and competent) in equal measures. The food was tasty and you should go hungry, the mains are huge. Overall = 9/10, recommended.

Friendly staff and great food. Because the wine we've chosen was not yet cold they offered us another from the house. That's just great. The coffee dessert plate is lovely.

We went there for dinner as the place was recommend by our colleague who lives in Toulouse and it was a great choice! We were a bit early (20 min before the opening) but the waiter allowed us in anyway. We ordered entrecote and duck and both the dishes were superb. The quantity was surprising as well - we were... Small place so menu not huge but ran very well with high quality food. Cote de boeuf for two was very very tasty. Some nice almangacs available as a digestive after the meal. Would go back here.

This is a somewhat belated review. We had looked at restaurants on Trip Advisor that were near our hotel and made a selection. When we arrived at the Place de Damloup we found our intended destination closed (apparently run by a young couple with children who decided to keep Saturday evenings for themselves) so looked at other restaurants in the... This bijou restaurant located on the place de Daloup in Toulouse is a cosy and convivial venue that attracts a fashionable local crowd. With a cosmopolitan dining room decorated with whitewashed walls, leather banquettes and ruby red lamps - and an authentic kitchen, Le March de Laurence is the ideal place to taste traditional Toulousian cuisine. Perfect for romantic tables for two, both locals and tourists alike both love the hearty, homemade fare at Le March de Laurence, and favourite dishes include the Sicilian tarte with sardines and tomatoes; the veal served with roasted tomatoes and crushed potatoes; and the sweet cherry and honey crumble for dessert.
