We have been coming to this restaurant for many years and it never disappoints. The meat is cooked over an open fire at the back of the restaurant by Gilles, a consummate master of meat cookery. The full menu consists of a large basket of around 12 different saucissons secs from which you can cut as much as you like.... More

Not booking a restaurant the night before Valentine's Day was a mistake obviously, so pushing the door at L'Aubrac was not quite a choice ! But it could have been a pleasant attempt to familiarise with the Aubrac area food. Aubrac : Michel Bras .......... !!!! The place is certainly popular but one unfortunate traveller would wonder why ! Not... More

Close to Wilson square, in a small street with good atmosphere, you can find this small restaurant. I recommend choosing one of the menus, they have three dishes and it is IMpossible to end hungry.... food is tasty generous and good quality. Service is charming and familiar. I would repeat for sure! Arrive early or plan a reservation, they asked... More

Six people, For 237 euro we got big basket of sausages for pre-appetizers, each one better or more special than the other. Then a small snack of cured ham. Then a foie gras. Then our main dishes of even more meat And the rounding of with a nice liqueur. Memorable evening. Very full and rich. Excellent and friendly staff.

The place is original. I like the concept of the main appetizers to share with different saucissons. This restaurant is for meet lovers, if you are vegetarian, try something else. They have a local traditional brewed beer as well.

We found L'Aubrac through a well informed local acquaintance. As other have written, you need to be ready to eat. The best way to enjoy L'Aubrec is to take one of the fixed price menus. The 23euro menu is good; the 31 euro menu adds duck and steak so it's even better. The evening starts with a basket of sausage... More

Good food. You better like pork sausages and foie gras. Very kind service. Good wine. In a small but very active street 400 m from Place Wilson. You better make a reservation and if you come for diner you better escape lunch !

L'Aubrac is just a short walk from Toulouse centre. The menu is always the same. If you choose the set menu, you have as a starter a huge basket of different saucissons secs (salami sausages), as much as you like. The next course is a plate of jambon cru followed by a board with a whole foie gras of which... More
