Major setback on our latest visit. The restaurant is permanently closed and the furniture was being auctioned off. Apparently it closed in January and it is possibly going to become the new tourist information office. Real shame we loved it here and the owner was very friendly.

I had the de Cabillaud (Cod) as a main meal which was beautifully cooked and presented. Followed up with Tarte fine aux Pomme which rounded of the meal beautiful. Has a good variety of local wines (and also in 500 ml bottles) - try the appellation Collioure which was perfect. Recommend also sitting outside and take in the atmosphere of... More

We stayed in Perpignan for four days and ate here on two of those as the food was fab! Great surroundings, friendly and helpful staff and superb food. I would recommend the Le France Tortellini with fois gras which is delicious. Great value too, two main course and a bottle of wine for less than 50 euros.

We had two meals here. Pizza on the first visit went down well and was decent value. A steak meal we had later in the week was more expensive and less good value for money.

Building is beautiful on the outside with fantastic gargoyles, however on the inside there is a huge TV screen which dominates the restaurant. The food is only average, however staff are very friendly and helpful. You could do worse than eat in the restaurant, how ever I also think you could do a lot better in Perpignan.

Really friendly and attentive service during our lunchtime visit. Outside seating available in this, undoubtedly, old building. The salads are superb and one should try the local produce.

Stopped here for lunch as it looked lively. Most of the menu is Italian but there were some interesting other things on the menu. The grand tapas was excellent, a really good mix of tapas surrounding black risotto. The magret de canard was equally good, beautifully cooked. despite there being only 2 waiters the service was quick and friendly. I... More

Driving through Perpignan on Monday night, not many places to go to eat, but I think it was easily the best available. Nice service starting from the door, got the food quickly (manchego, tortilla, prawns and duck breast. Pelforth beers to go. Everything was good, but nothing special. I could do that again.

Well set-up menu and good service in Perpignan. In Canet-en-R service is poor. But you can get good food at a reasonable price and wash it down with reasonable priced good house wine or with good selection of beers.

Visited this lovely looking restaurant last Thursday night about 8:30 pm. I wasn't feeling great, but the tapas/pasta pizza menu seemed cheap and accessible. the outside seating was crowded and as neither of us smoke, we asked to be seated inside. Lovely large interior, with a huge screen showing European football. Bit disconcerting, but after about 5 minutes a tall... More
