We felt very proud of ourselves for finding this treasure. This was up a narrow alleyway and looked fairly empty when we got there - but it soon filled up. We were seated a small tables in the narrow alleyway. My husband had cheese stuffed sardines with tomato sauce and potato - and I had the seafood Rissotto - this... More

We had two menus for lunch, opted for the vegetarian one and received a refreshing salad as a first course (see picture), pasta for the main course and chocolate cake for desert (see pictures). Service was friendly and knowledgeable and the price was very advantageous.

I found this restaurant thanks to TA. And what a discovery! It is a bit hidden in the Old Town, but is worth the visit just to see the place. The owners bought things through the year and decorated the restaurant with lots of taste (have a look at the pictures on the website). The food is in line with... More

In a warm summer day, we were lucky to find this great restaurant for lunch. Our family of 4 had the very reasonable 15€ menu (for the grown ups) and organized kids' menu for the little ones. All in all very good food and quickly served, we carried on our visit of Nîmes with a full stomach!

First night in Nimes with daughter and just took a punt with this quirky little restaurant up a very narrow cul de sac. Good sign, lots of locals and the menu although not large was a bit different. She started with octopus with chick peas and i had crab with gazpacho gelee, not obvious combinations but delicious. I followed up... More

We've had twice a lunch and we are very enthousiastic about this restaurant. The ambiance and reception is very warm. Service is very friendly and quick. I can only talk in "very". The 3 course lunch menu is offered for a very reasonable price of Euro 15. Every day is different. Fresh products from the daily market. The cook works... More

We have been coming to Nimes for several years, but never found this restaurant until this trip. Actually, our inn owners recommended it. Reservations a very good idea. We thought the food was wonderful. Le Passage de Virginie truly does qualify for the rating "restaurant" because they have a limited, exquisite menu, prepared on site. My favourite was the spaghetti... More

The hotel recetion recommended this place and what a find it was. tucked away down an alleyway in the centre of Nimes (you get to know your fellow diners quite well!). The menu is fresh every day and depends on what the local market has to offer. The chef is so passionate about what he cooks and comes out and... More

A great TripAdvisor recommendation! Lunchtime, no reservation, but we were welcomed, which is always great (but not totally common in France) We chose from the menu of the day. The calamari, with wild rice and a bisque sauce was quite stunning. Good service, quality food, and reasonable value. Recommended

A nice 3 course lunch for 15€ in a quiet alley. Fresh food served by an enthousiastic team. Be there on time as this place gets crowded quickly.
