The sallad choises were fantastic and unique. We ate the Coquilique and the Pré Vert. Both had an interesting and marvellously tasty combination of fruit, vegetables and proteins. The vegetable lasagna was yet again different and also, like the sallads, very tasty, very well made,...beautifully presented and all of it were made from high quality produce. The freshly made grapefruit juice was delicious. I can definitely recommend this place. We were there for lunch on a Sunday. The service was impeccable.More

I cam here with a large group (about 20 of us I suppose) last Sunday. The outside tables are nicely set under shady trees in front of the restaurant. We all had different things to eat and drink and our servers did an excellent job...in getting everything right the first time and in a timely manner despite the restaurant being full. All the servers were friendly and efficient. The dishes they serve are delicious and out of the ordinary. You can tell everything is home made. I had some delicious fresh pressed orange juice too. The team did an impressive job in keeping everyone at our table happy. Next time I am in Montpellier I will certainly return. PS - toilets are spotlessly clean.More

This cafe is tucked away behind the deconsecrated church in a quiet part of the old city and majors on outside eating which is nicely shaded. The menu offers plenty of inventive salads, hot dishes and sweets. Our filling salads with grilled cheese, came with...toasted almonds, fresh slices of orange, crusty toast, carrot strips and a generous helping of green leaves. Drinks include freshly squeezed orange and/grapefruit juice. Service is really smiley and helpful. Recommended.More

The name of the restaurant near the Church of St. Anne translates as "Green Meadow". This reflects to some extent the message of the restaurant. They like to use greens. The dishes are already satisfied just by looking at them. They know how to reach...the center of pleasure here and through vision and through smell and through touch.More

Dinner was absolutely delicious, with wonderful service and good humour. The small touch of a basket of toys for young children added to the warmth of the experience. During the meal we were treated to some wonderful jazz saxophone from the Conservatoire. All in all...a great time and we would highly recommend Le Pre Vert.More

*To be avoided at all costs* Having lived in Montpellier for over 7 years, we will never return to this restaurant again. We had initially gone as they had failed to reimburse a friend after over-charging and not refunding online. Arriving punctually for our reservation...we were then ignored for 25 minutes while the rude waitress deemed it much more important to set out every table, even though there was no one else around and several tables had already been prepared. It took her 25 minutes to come and even take our drinks order and when ordering our food we were barked at and felt as though we were an inconvenicnce "IT'LL TAKE LONGER BECAUSE IT'S COOKED IN THE OVER SO DON'T COMPLAIN AFTERWARDS!" The blonde waitress was evidently in a bad mood and decided to take it out on us. We were eating with 2 children under 5 and asked for a second plate so that they could share. After 3 times of asking we went to the bar to ask again where the waitress stormed in and shouted that she was planning to bring one. On top of the disgusting service, 2 meals arrived and the meat was either completely oover-cooked beyond recognition and the burger was undercooked compared to what had been ordered. The burger was ordered again, however the all the beef had been overcook due to incompetence on the part of the chef. The manager seems to be completely unaware and has no control of his staff, one young brown-haired waitress, was much better-mannered and excused her colleague's behaviour, despite the blonde waitress's complete disregard for us and her own behaviour. There are much better places with nicer service in the Saint-Roch area/Place de la Canourge, we will nevere return.More

It is a shame this was nothing special because it was a lovely venue, in the shadow of the beautiful St Annes church it has a lovely terrace under the trees. The food was plentiful but bland and uninteresting. I had picked this restaurant for...a vegetarian friend but there turned out to be less on the menu than I imagined for it's name so neither one of us was satisfied. This was the second time in three years I had eaten here and had hoped that it had picked up it's game a bit since the last time... There was a lack of love in the food....More

It was our first night in Montpellier. We wandered around the Place Ste Anne and noticed this restaurant. It looked good and proved o be so. Ate outside on a slightly chilly September evening, but the food and wine kept us warm. I had the...burger which they only serve 'saignant' . My wife had the half chicken. Both were served with dauphinoise potatoes and a copious salad. We're not too no puddings at the moment but they and the salads looked greatMore

The salads are impressively large but not necessarily the tastiest (although the duck one was much appreciated). The terrace is very nice and the service a bit cold and rushed. Overall = 6,5/10. Don't go for the kitchen :)

Came across this lovely Bistro whilst walking around the old town. Initially they had no room, but after 5 minutes the owner found us a table. We all ordered the Plat Du Jour, which I have to say was very tasty. Chicken coked with a...Mushroom Sauce, Julienne of vegetable and a salad. For desert a Pear tart and coffee were served all for €16.00. Foe a Plat Du Jour, this was high class food, normally I have found that the plat du Jour can be bland and cheap looking. During lunch we thought we should have been more adventurous as the salad that came out looked stunning. Considering it was full at lunch time with locals tells you that this place is good, will go back again next time in town. Be aware it does get bust so booking may be necessary.More

It is a simple place like countless other in Montpelier, with outdoor seating in the shade of Saint Anne's church. However, the menu is a bit different. Their gorgeous, fresh, large salads are perfect for a hot Sommer day. Try the Aperos Bio for a...different angle on white wine. Deserts are great, the the coffee is good too and you get to choose among many different coffees (they have Jamaican blue!). The staff is friendly and their English is good enough, and the bathroom is clean. All in all, a big thumbs up!More

We were looking for a veggie friendly restaurant, and stumbled upon this cute little thing near a church. Epic location! We orderded the salad with goat cheese and the broiled camembert, and my girlfriend had the wine, wich was great. The food was also really...good, and nicely plated. All in all a wonderfull meal, with lovely staff.More
