Had a lovely meal here in May 2015 so on a return visit to Carcassonne decided to come again. However, it is closed. Peered through the windows and all empty. Shame.

we were keen to try the food here as reviews were good. décor is eclectic. we sat for a good while before we were brought the menu or offered a drink, but it was busy and think waiter forgot about us. however, food made up for the slow start. thoroughly enjoyable

Amazing evening, had arrived early evening at our apartment and the restaurant was just round the corner. Sat out in the street as roads closed for the 14th July. Fantastic menu "Feux d' Artifices" fantastic value at 16 Euros. Fantastic Tarte flambé traditionnelle. Then wondered down to the river to watch the fireworks.

We went to this restaurant for our 10th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The duck was divine. It is a small and quaint little place with great food and extremely friendly service.

It is a challenge to find an open restaurant in the city on Sunday. This one listed itself as open, and we headed there based on the overall strong TA reviews. We got there at opening time and found the restaurant with its lights off. Curiously, the door was unlocked. So, we poked our heads in and called out for... More

We were recommended to go to this restaurant on our first night in carcassonne. There is a large plastic flamingo outside for some unknown reason. The restaurant specialises in food from the Alsace region. Inside it is small and very strangely decorated. Lots of plastic and on the place settings were bowls decorated with winter snow scenes, plastic chairs, strange glasswear.... More

...and the advice was right on this occasion. We ate at L'Als'Assiette two years ago and had a great experience in terms of both the food and the general ambience. This time though it was disappointingly average. My starter of anchovies on toasted bread was good but my cassoulet was pretty tasteless. In fact it was some time before I... More

The people that run this place and do the cooking are from Alsace and their enthusiam for its food and wines is infective. Thoroughly good - robust! - meal in this tiny place that was comfortable, cosy and very welcoming.

The restaurant is situated just off the central square of the Bastide St. Louis. It is a small place with quite a kitschy Alsatian décor. The owner seems to have a predilection for storks. It has a cosy atmosphere and very friendly owners. Whereas most restaurants put a basket of bread on your table, here you get a cup with... More

I went here yesterday for the first time with my friend who had highly recommended it to me, and she wasn't wrong! A lovely little restaurant, nicely decorated with all kinds of things from the Alsace. Very cheerful and friendly owner, who speaks English! The food was excellent, and very reasonably priced. Will return! Highly recommend it too.
