The food was wonderful, especially burrata, seafood risotto and cod with vegetables. This place has a nice atmosphere and is totally worth a visit. Shoutout to the friendly waiter who can speak French, English, Italian and German!

I had great memories of this little restaurant. I have recommended it to all I know who visit Paris. However, on my return I experienced highly rude staff. I had a short space of time, and wished to have a coffee. It was approximately 1230pm. First of all the waiter informed me I cannot merely order a coffee, I have... More

The food was good. The sawrdfish was delicious, nice risoto and good pasta, but the service was very confused. We recieved 3 dishes after the 2 other were eaten. Drinks appeared after we finished our dinner. The staff was fair and didn't charge the drinks and gave us complimantry dessert.

Used to be a regular visitor. Sadly went and everything we'd ordered was off the menu - despite the fact it was almost empty. Food was very poor and we were still asked to pay even though I'd eaten half my plate and not enjoyed it. Very sad.

Me and my girlfriend came here often 2 years ago when living in the area. We went there last night and it was horrendous, no wonder only 3 out of 30 tables were occupied. Having ordered mains the waiter told us that they were out of everything except the meat that was supposed to be in the dish and then... More

It was raining and cold in march. I was tired, hungry, and heading to my room in my friend's place. I had a "pass navigo" in the Paris Metro and stopped in an unusual station. The menu outside of IMPRO'VISTA looked original.I entered. The setting was not outstanding, and because of glass windows not very warm. But... Food !!! Vitello... More

Got a table straight away at what would normally be peak time especially during happy hour. Service was speedy and attentive but not overly so. Monty and I both ordered the lamb ravoli which was very tasty but quite expensive at 21euros. However it went with complementary bread. Puzzled as to why they did not serve vodka yet did an... More

Searching for a quick lunch near the Galleries - have to watch out as can be a real tourist trap around Opera. Stumbled on this Italian by chance and very happy. Delicious pasta, quick and excellent service. A little pricey, but warrants it in quality.

Find a relaxed and homely Italian ambience at the heart of Paris' Opera district here at Impro'Vista. Waited on by the efficient and friendly staff, this restaurant is the perfect spot to enjoy fresh pasta, famous pizzas and assorted cuts of prime meat dishes. To harmoniously complement the food on the menu, there is also an excellent wine list with a fine selection of Italian wines. The decor and interior is inspired by New York design, with graffiti walls, stylised chairs and a large shop window which is ideal for watching the world go by as you enjoy your meal. With heating all year round, the terrace is always a great setting for your meal and the steel bar is also used as an open kitchen by the skilled chefs, tantalising you even further whilst you await your lunch or dinner.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
