The New years eve menu was good, but the table was the worst i ever had. Directly next to the entrance, constant cold air flow from outside... totally not enjoyable and it kinda ruined the dinner. People next to me and my girlfriend have also been cold the whole time but the service refused to give us a better table... More

A nice place to savor Italian dishes. The products are fresh, the plates well presented and they offer of good selection of Italian wines. The people were attentive but sometime the staff seemed overwhelmed and the server forget small details in his service. Nevertheless, the manager was always there to bring the level back to what needed to be expected...

We've visited scala a few times over the past couple of years and it is always nice. It's a small and busy restaurant which is also nice for lunch. The food and service are good and prices very reasonable. I would recommand this place if you are looking for some simple but nice italian food in Paris.

Had a really lovely meal here. Staff were very welcoming, the pasta tasted really fresh and plenty of it. Our fussy son loved his food and was kept entertained by the staff generally messing about with him. Highly recomended.

We came back a second time because it was so good. They served some of the best Italian food we have ever eaten and were treated like friends from the minute we stepped inside. Thank you to the Scala team but a special thank you to Rita for making our visit so special.

We have been with friends and the personnel was very professional and kind. True Italian menu more on fish. we got tagliatelle with 'palourdes' very nice. Quality is good and I recommend this restaurant. The wines/spirits need to improve but management just start since two weeks so they have still to receive from suppliers.

How this place ever got 5 stars here beats me and you definitely don't want to spend your wedding anniversary here. If you're in the area take exit 5 from Bonne Nouvelle metro and you will find the restaurant at the top of the stairs. It's fine for lunch even if there is no decent lunch time menu, just one... Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
