Went to this restaurant on a Saturday night - service average, food not tasty and overall not cheap - I would not recommend this place

'Le Bistrot de Dames' is a great uncomplicated little bistrot with good food and wine, friendly service and a relaxed uncomplicated atmosphere. Everything on the menu is made in house; this is a place that really does believe in 'fait maison' and is honest with it. The food is classic French, nicely presented and simply good. Recommended.

I came here for dinner with friends in the midst of the cold season. This place is an oasis of warmth and friendliness. Service and food were great, and the feeling is of being in a neighborhood bistro - which it is, tucked on a quiet street a stone's throw away from the bustling Montmartre. Whether it's a romantic evening,... More

Writing this review as I wait here for 1 hour and a half while the waiter has assured me that the last table was "getting dessert and paying the bill". Bold faced lie, two people walked in AFTER us and seated promptly in the garden. Straight up discrimination. I am leaving now and will never be coming back. It's a... More

Dear Saif, I'm sorry that you felt unwelcome at our place. You have to know that many people go through the garden, or just join tables, and it is possible to see people passing who sometimes were already there before you. Know that we note in a notebook people in order of arrival and we always assign the tables in... More

First time in Paris, January 2015. Our street as we booked Airbnb in the same street. Went to get some food and we saw this small bistrot and ordered some steak and salmon. I still dream of that salmon with sweet potato and all kind of wonderfullnes! I will seriously go back to Paris just to go there once again!

Great for eating outside if the weather is nice, the gardens were really lovely. The food and cocktails were also delicious!

This place in the 17th is not a tourist place at all, but they do have an English menu (possibly because it is also a hotel). The gorgeous garden courtyard is very popular amongst local residents and you can't book so if you want to sit outside you have to be there when they open at 7pm sharp. Quaint old... More

Called in for a drink and then stayed for a meal as it looked good. A good choice of basic French fare with no frills but fresh and tasty. Service a bit slow but done with a friendly manner
