I came across this buzzing bar/bistro while scouting out restaurants near my hotel. It's clean, comfortable and very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. Brochettes de poulet was delicious.

We found the suggestion for this restaurant in the Rick Steeves Paris guide. It is located in a pricey area, and we don't care for tourist-filled cafes, so we looked for a recommendation. We arrived after the lunch rush at about 2 PM and found a table by the window right away. Our waiter did not speak English, but even... More

Had our meals served very promptly. I went for the beef tartare - Very nicely flavoured with potato chips and salad. My wife went for confit duck - Not as flavourful but nice. Total bill with drinks was less than 35 euros - so good price for a quick mid-range meal.

Has nice atmosphere. The food was nice but very busy at the time and felt rushed slightly. The seating and decor was nice. The staff very helpful considering they were rushed off their feet.

Went for lunch with friends. It's a busy place and highly recommend to go before 12.30 if don't want to wait for a seat. I had the salade folle and a cafe gourmand. There is nothing exceptional about it but for 11 euros for the salad it's good for the expensive area. The place is very busy so the staff... More

Nice atmosphere, personnel young attractive and friendly. No reservations and the restaurant is very popular but there is always a quick turnover so the wait in line is usually short. The food is fresh and reasonably priced with a good choice. Finally the service is fast and with a smile!

Great place for a lunch or dinner. Casual, straight forward and reasonably priced. Staff are attentive, friendly and meals served quickly. I would claim their burger to be one of the best in Paris, it's really good!

That's what our waiter told us the locals thought about Comptoir de l'Arc. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone who wants good food at great prices. It's comfortable (if a bit crowded) and friendly. The drinks and desserts are reasonably priced as well. Our friend said the cheese burger was better than the ones he gets at home. The... More

Ate here late one evening as it was close to our hotel. Was full of locals eating and drinking well into the evening. The food was good - prices weren't too expensive for Paris. Fun little place to hang out on a Friday night.
