Chez bebert has been one of my favorite CousCous restaurant for over 30 years. This place never disappoints even if sometimes the waiting can be tedious without a reservation. But you will book table anyhow and make sure you're on time as they operate a first come first served among bookings. If you never had couscous before, this is a... More

Been coming here for a good Cous Cous for longer than I care to say and it never disappoints me. It can get busy in the evening and the queue out the door is crazy. Prices are not cheap but sensible and yes they don't let you share which is not traditional at all and just a rip off and... More

Sorry to say this was our worst eating experience in Paris, maybe ever.. To the restaurant´s defense, none of us were used to moroccan cooking, and cooked raisins by the pound was´t quite what we had expected.. At first glance it all looked very exiting, but the meat was chewy and bad quality - the vegetables were overcooked beyond recognition... More

I've been here at this cozy and busy restaurant in Montparnasse area. The resaurant was very busy and the small tables are not helpful at all when enjoying cous cous. Anyway service was fair and food good. The restaurant is warmly decorated à la Maroccaine and makes your staying really nice.

We went to this Montparnasse area couscous restaurant because it was recommended as one of the best couscous places in Paris. The couscous was OK but "nothing to write home about". Frankly, I've eaten much better couscous meals elsewhere in Paris. The meat (merguez, chicken etc) arrived long after the couscous and vegetables had been served and eaten. In fact,... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
