I come for work regularly and always try a different restaurant. This is my preferite to date. Foie gras was superb. Tartare was ok. My collegue was happy with the herring starter and the curry maincourse. Creme brûlé was also nice. Not the cheapest but you expect €45/pers in Paris

Visited Paris for three days and we went to this restaurant on our first night as we it was close to the hotel we stayed at. My meal the prawns with curry sauce was good but nothing to write home about as was my partners french onion soup but the majority of the group were not impressed at all. To... More

We came here with my girlfriend thanks to a Wonderbox offered by a Friend. The waiter and waitress were really great, friendly yet professionals, in brief, perfect. The food was amazing, we ordered the camenbert roti and the smoked salmon fort starters and the tartare and lamb as main course, it was perfectly cooked, although maybe a bit rustic. We'll... More

We choose that restaurant suggested by our book guide of Paris, because if of the local dishes and because it is open until late in the night. A lot of good restaurants in Paris closed around 10 - 10.30. Nothing to say, good location in the Pigalle neighborhood, good place, very intimate, excellent staff, the girl who explain you the... I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service is very good, quick and friendly. The food is delicious and you get a little starter with the drinks. The only thing that can be improved is the decoration of the plates (but that is minor!)

Good, friendly service. Interesting menu. Not cheap but good value for money. Smallish place but good atmosphere where you can hold a conversation, not like many of the places round this area where the noise levels are impossible!

inside what looked like a very old building we were welcomed by the very "french" owner and a friendly waiter. Plus the food was non-pretentious and good! A refreshing good surprise!

The restaurant is typically French, frequented by many locals, always a good sign. The food is well done, using good ingredients, and satisfying. You will find a rich choice of meat dishes. No fancy gastronomic cuisine. Just well executed traditional recipes. All in all is not that expensive for the type of restaurant (careful with the wine, that can cost you... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
