Having been recommended this restaurant by the hotel concierge, we were looking forward to an enchanting evening...... We arrived and we're almost refused entry until we explained we actually booked in advance. This restaurant in its heyday back in 1973 may have been chic at the time but the years have not been kind. Fortunately the empty chianti bottles hanging... More

We didn't have a reservation and they found us a table immediately. Lots of pasta dishes to choose from and local French dishes too. Nice wine list and delicious desserts. Most tables were full and still were when we left. Lovely atmosphere. Try the Minestrone soup. Very reasonable in price for the area but great service and food. I would... More

I went with my wife to have dinner. We arrived without a reservation but the restaurant was obviously empty. The staff huffed and puffed that we didn't have a reservation and in the end turned us away. We found a nice restaurant opposite where we ate. Needless to say Le Montegrosso stayed empty the rest of the night...

Well situated in the heart of Paris close to Louvre museum and Place Vendome , this restaurant is popular with local business people (who are generally hard to please). Food is excellent (though my meat was a bit tough),wines are great , and the service is first class!

This appears to be a popular restaurant with locals and its easy to see why with such great service. Our waiter was extremely accommodating and friendly - whilst there are no children's options on the menu, they were willing to create two smaller dishes for our kids. The food was good and decent value considering the location. Well worth a... More

We were hungry and we didn't have reservations for any other restaurants today ... so we walked along the streets near our hotel at Hotel le Pradey .... we gave this place a chance after yelping it. And one of the reviews was right ... the owner has a Stone Cold face. LOL. but with that aside ... our waiter... More

A restaurant is not only about food; and many just don't get it. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE! If you enter the restaurant speaking English will diminish the quality of the service; italian or spanish will improve your chances. The food is really good that's why I gave it 3 stars. Also stay away from restaurants with flags on their... More
