It's a nice small restaurant to visit for a taste of American diner food. The service was good and food was served fast.

Tiny diner, but so cosy ! You literally having meal overseas - that's the impression. Loved your pancakes. Delicious milkshakes. And authentic staff - perfect place to practice your English ;)

Breakfast American style ... 2 pancakes 2 eggs 2 bacon and maple syrup all washed down by endless coffee... great start to a day walking the streets of Paris. It's small and busy so you might need to wait... but it's worth it. If you like an American diner breakfast then this place is a must.

I should say I do much more better than this restaurant, I got bacon, pancake and eggs!, It was really bad, I was surprise because they have many good comments!!, we waited half an hour for our meal, I thought after this time they bring us something fantastic, and I should say It was really bad!!, I can say If... Breakfast in America is located right next to the Hotel Emile in which we were staying. The Hotel Emile has a light breakfast included in the stay, but if you want to fill up before a day of sight seeing you might want to visit Breakfast in America. Classic American breakfast food but better because the French really know how... More

Excellent location on the corner of rue de Rivoli and rue Malher in the 4th. If you're looking for more than a croissant and cold cuts this is a nice option. American 1960's diner style, eggs any way you want them, bacon, ham, omlets, French toast, fresh juice and a coffee cup that is never empty. Ate here 3 times... More

If you're really missing an American breakfast then give it a shot. But if you've had really good diner food from excellent Northeast US diners, you'll be disappointed. The pancakes are OK, potatoes not bad and eggs somewhat cooked to order. Might be better off with an omelette. Coffee was OK and they did refill. Initially the guy who seated... More

Arrived Thurs 11h30. Relatively full. 2 seats free at counter otherwise occupied by 4 girls. Missed the sign at the entrance asking to wait outside to be seated. Was directed back outside by a wee Nelson who declined to explain why I couldn't have one of the free seats at the counter. Waited 10 mins and was seated at a... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
