I showed up a quarter to 8 and was told that the kitchen was closed. I had heard they made great fries so I went to try them. I ordered a hot chocolate and it was really good. Then the guy tells me 10 minutes...More

I love this place for its set lunches which are always delicious and come at a price which is hard to beat in Paris. The service is quick and friendly (also quite rare in this city alas). Ideal for anyone who's in a hurry but...More

I tried duck for the first time over here and it was pretty damn good! It's a little hard to get the waitress' attention and we had to wait a little to be served, but the food well made up for it!

I have been going back to this place forever (well since I found it in 2004) but the last time I was there, I was really disappointed. The "tarte du jour" (or quiche of the day) was burnt, the salmon was charcoal clack and looked...More

I love this place. The staff is really nice and you canbget a great quiche of the and coffee for under 9 euros. The quantity is plentiful even for those who have big appetites. The decor is fake industrial-big pipes, destroyed wall paper but it...More

Dede La Frite is noted as having the best fries in Paris. While they are slimmer and “more American” than others, they are not the main attraction to this place. Friendly waitstaff bring your orders and make your stay at Dede la Frite pleasant. A...More

Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle
époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades,
and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here,
modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros
predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
