Place looks good, its situated across the burger no sitting place so we sat in Zango. Service was great, girl was very welcoming. We ordered some burgers/ their house named Zango burger. Honestly I expected better and much more. They were dry, very small amount of any sauce , lettuce and onions on a side, not in burger, cheese was... More

Went to Zango a few times. From the first moment, it was definitely a nice and friendly atmosphere. The food is excellent, a real travel into different coutries with exotic flavours. Maybe a bit noisy when you have dinner on the 1st floor, but you quickly forget about it.

Nice concept african style decoration, books and maps from all over the world in the place trying to "get" you around the world, nice decoration and food. A bit different menu than the typical. Very poor service. Dessert mango and passion fruit very tasty.

Unusual and varied menu. Starters were a selection of Meze and Tapas - very tasty. Mains were a little strange - too much contrast on one plate. Good service.

Went to this restaurant the other day and was really disappointed. The service was really slow. We had to wait way too long to place our order. We ordered the dish called Marco Polo (chicken teryaki with potatos and salad) and it was DRY! I have never eaten so dry chicken before. And the potatos did not seem freshly made.... More

The idea of the restaurant is to deliver small portions of different foods of different countries together with a main dish and small options of drinks. I tried together with 3 friends, 8 small plates and 4 main dishes and 4 drinks, the overall evaluation of the food and drinks was not impressive, but still it is an experience that... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
