Enjoyed our dinner very much! I read it had great reviews and it didn't disappoint! I finally got to try Escargot in Paris! Also, had an amazing Charcuterie! My mom enjoyed a great steak w/ fries! Our server, from Portugal was the best! She made sure we were well taken care of and it was so awesome to practice my... More

When I lived in Paris over ten years ago, the original Chez Gladines in Butte aux Cailles was a local secret and hands down my favorite place to eat. I was a bit afraid but not surprised to see how successful they have been since then, with now 6 locations through Paris. Sadly, after trying the new restaurants over two... More

Have been here a few times over the past year. Always go when very hungry as the portions are generous. Don't be fooled by the salads - they are packed with cheese, meat and potatoes, so although delicious, they are definitely not a light/healthy option. Also serve Basque and some French classics (confit de canard, escargots etc). Great place to... More

This was an excellent find. The meals were lovely - I had escargots to start and then the cassoulet for the main, which I could not finish as the portions were so huge (even the salads were too much for most people to finish!). I had a try of the other dishes which were gorgeous as well. The only downsides... More

In the Butte au Calles, this no reservations gem has it all. Line up 15 min. early and prepare for a feast at bargain basement prices. A lunch of confit de canard and cassoulet were very good and left us stuffed. The bill was 36E!. With over 20 years of dining experience in Paris, this is a VERY rare find... More

Staff were nice. Spoke English and were very helpful. Duck with potatoes was tasty. My family enjoyed their meals with the basque sauce. Cute atmosphere and very French.

We went to Chez Gladines twice on our trip to Paris. We especially loved Cassoulet dish! Delicious wine, food, and affordable! Very, very busy and tight in space but we didn't mind it. Already looking forward to going back there again!

Friendly staff and nice bistrot. The food quality is not excellent, but acceptable. Not too expensive for being in Paris

price wise, it's affordable. not much to say on the presentation of food, but the menu is quite extensive .ordered a salad and the duck confit. the place was really packed, we were literally rubbing elbows with the other diners.

Found this restaurant from all the great reviews on trip advisor, it did not disappoint. I warn against getting the cheese plate, they give you so much that it is hard to finish this and the also equally large portion of food they provide for the entree. I got the veal dish, it was delicious, it was also very heavy... More
