Pierre Herme macarons have a well earned reputation as the best of the best. The selection is always varied and delicious. The staff is also beyond helpful and polite. An absolute must when visiting the city.

We read all the positive reviews of Pierre Herme online so we gave it a shot. The staff was very friendly and helpful in giving recommendations of the desserts. Our favourite one was the Truffle macarons! I don't usually like macarons because they are too...More

I have never been all "that" about macarons. Not much flavor and seemed a lot of hoo haw about... pfffttt... Till here. The macarons looked like jewels all lined up. Ok, so if you're pretty, don't know about the taste. I was offered one and...More

the macarons here, when fresh, are the way macarons should be...light and airy cookie with chewy center. Wow, the flavors!!! I loved every one of them and bought many to bring home. A must place to get the best macarons in Paris!!!

I originally tried macarons from here during my honeymoon a year and a half ago. They were out of this world amazing and I've been dying to have them again ever since. I travelled to Paris with a friend recently and stopped to pick up...More

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic
and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is
dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops,
ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
art school and small museums hide in unassuming
squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the

As was said, it is a chocolate and pastry shop, not a restaurant. The pastries are "works of art." They are not inexpensive, but as the saying goes - you get what you pay for. I would suggest going there just to look at... More
