Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you love macaroons you'll just die! Every flavor we tried was incredible. Felt like a proper French experience too!!

Had to treat my nephew to a special tea shop so we popped into this classic place but had to queue; it was after all a Saturday before Christmas so not really surprising. Once in we got a choice of tables. Service was great, attentive...but discrete. Opted for tea and tried 5 different pastries. Probably the top one was the chocolate eclair with a delicious filling, the lemon tart was subtle in taste and flan was sublime. The teas were IMHO less successful but OK. The only disappointment was the raspberry tart: it looked fine but raspberries are out of season in December so these lacked the gentle parfume of seasonal fruit hence the drop from 5 to 4. Stick to fruits which are in season & you will enjoy this upscale tea shop to the full. Will return that’s guaranteed.More

I definitely wanted to try some Laduree macarons while in Paris. We have it in NYC but I wanted to go back to its roots. Since we had a late breakfast, we wanted to just sit down and have the macarons and maybe a drink....We came in on a Friday at 1 and were led to the upstairs dining room, which had a lot of charm. It's definitely for tourists because everyone else around us were tourists too, which I didn't mind. We ordered four macarons - Marie-Antoinette Tea, Pistachio, Raspberry, and Orange Blossom. The pistachio and raspberry were pretty standard. Orange blossom was good. My favorite was the Marie-Antoinette Tea. It was so good, I wish I bought some from the shop downstairs. You could actually taste the tea flavor in it. The pistachio milkshake was too sweet, especially with the macarons. Should have opted for a latte or something with less/no sugar. I'm sure there are tons of other macaron places that are just as good as Laduree but the dining area at this location and the presentation is just very pretty.More

Beautiful interiors, the ceilings are magnificent. I ordered the finger sandwiches and coffee. The coffee was great but the finger sandwiches were almost inedible. They were made with stale, white bread and each of the four small sandwiches had only a single, small filling -...chicken, salmon, cheese and ham. I really can't tell you how bad they were...I didn't finish the last one as I just couldn't force myself to do.More

We had a quick, simple breakfast stop at this Ladurée location before a full day of wandering around Paris. We just wanted croissants and coffee, although there is quite an extensive menu for breakfast, as well as a gazillion amazing looking French pastries to choose...from. We were seated quickly. The service was perfect. My wife had a capuccino which was beautifully decorated with the Ladurée logo in the foam, and I had a double espresso. Both drinks came with a little piece of chocolate which was a lovely surprise addition. Although we wanted the comfort of table service, there's a take-away storefront right next door where all the pastries are on display, so head there if that's the delicious convenience you're looking for. This is an upscale Paris chain which you'll find many locations of throughout Paris, in airports and even in other parts of the world. It's worth stopping in for a legitimate, quality French breakfast experience.More

Originally we visited the restaurant to taste some cakes and feel the atmosphere of the luxury tea room, but the one I wanted was not available. The waiter was very rude and condescending, so that made us immediately leave. I ended up buying some macarons...from the takeaway shop, which were really tasty, but the whole experience was ruined by that snobby waiter.More

Seating was ok, a bit close one to another , there are multiple floors. With small stairs Service was a bit unpersonal and rushed. staff avoiding contact, after trying to wave her politely for 3 times trying to order an extra coffee , i had...no other choice than to go to her when she left another table. We had some tea and pastries, all very good, although a bit overpriced (but you know that when you enter). But expect to pay around 50 euro for 2 p, some tea/coffee and pastry.More

Excellent location and nice staff. Aesthetical coffee , although not the best in taste. Fair service. However, really inconvenient seats. If you look for how to get a back pain, use it.

We was searching to try the original French macarons, locally made and we found this place - 13000 reviews. Well, really dissapointed. This are definetly not the best macarons in France, maybe they are, if you never eat before. Price is actually double the price,...and for nothing. During our 8 day visit we found much better places, not so much advertised, but with better taste. If you have the option, check Maison Passos for example, this place was our best finding for French macarons, for sure there are more.More

It is quite expensive and busy with small tables. Best to go in early afternoon for tea/coffee and cake, which is reasonable
