This restaurant is open 7/7 and one can get a table at lunch without a reservation. We were quickly seated and service was very attentive. We sampled the express menu and ordered the Ton Katsu and a chicken bento box. Both came with miso soup and a Japanese salad. The food was well cooked, tasty and promptly delivered. When it... More

This is a nice place to be and to eat Japanese in Le Marais. They accept you after midnight to get wonderful sushis, brochettes .... service is friendly! A crawdy place means a good place.

The staff was very friendly since the first minute we came in. The food was as good and the atmosphere is very friendly! I would simply say that the tables need to be a little more presentable.

Attracted by the good review we went for a casual dinner. We were expecting an average level but it was actually a very poor experience. The cutlery and plates arrived already dirty, the fish was old and tasted like it would make you sick therefore we just could not finish our dishes and we ended up paying for food we... More

Open on Monday!!! Service was great, even by American standards. Several of the staff spoke some English which was nice. Food was good. Nothing exceptional or creative but fresh. Rice was a good texture and there was a good fish to rice ratio in the rolls. I hate a ton of rice on my sushi. Ordering was straight forward and... More

What you would expect from a basic Japanese restaurant, nothing more, nothing less. The focus is on standard, popular dishes. The menu would benefit from having a few less obvious choices.

Stopped in for a late lunch, as it was near my hotel in the area. I ran the Paris Marathon that morning, hence I worked up a super giant appetite. First of all, I was thankful that it had late lunch hour, as most other restaurants in the area were closed. The combination place was delicious. I understand the servers... More

This is a nice restaurant with a well devised menu that offers the chance to mix and match sushi, sashimi and yakitori dishes or you can choose bento boxes made up of 3-5 selections so you can choose whatever you like to suit your taste and the size of your appetite. It’s located very close to the Hotel du Ville... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
