I recommend this restaurants for their bobun but at busy times a queue is waiting outside. But the Bobun and the pho are very good and worthwile trying. My best wishes to the owner of this restaurant.

Ugly and disrespectful! We left even with eating! You should enjoy eating at the places who treat you as a human!

Horrible service ! Plats non savoureux ! Their service were HORRIBLE! Even foods are NOT good at all! Pho soup is very dark soup colour which was unusual ! I believe they are Chinese Vietnamese which is NOT authentic Vietnamese foods. We asked then to go then they said: "To go container will be 1 euro." We never heard about... More

This little restaurant is always busy and often there is a queue waiting to enjoy their yummy food. My favourite is No. 41, a crispy pancake with veggies and chicken/shrimp and leafy greens. The national dish of Pho is always a healthy serve and very delicious. It is not a place to leisurely stay after the meal as many are... More

We came here on the recommendation of a friend for the pho. The pho was as good as advertised. Service was very, very casual and friendly. The shrimp ravioli was not really my thing though.

This restaurant is hugely popular, at busy times a queue is waiting outside. Not a place to sit comfortably, when just finished eating, they come already to give the bill without asking, since others are waiting to come in. The pho tai chin is very good and worthwhile trying, the most enjoyable moment is when it's not busy like Sundaymorning... More

I would go back to Paris just for the pho of this place. It was really good. The soup tastes just out of this world. Really! It was light, savory and very healthy. It is not far from the Olympiades metro station. The price is right as well. I have tasted many pho in this world, but for me, this... More

Lovely restaurant near Place d'Italie. We had great food and tasted a real Vietnamise flavour as in Vietnam. Specialities are noodles, soup, and the lovely viet rolls made with fresh salad, shirmps, or meat, rolled into rise paper with some sauce to give more taste. A lot of kind of meats (pork, chicken, beef) can be found in the menu... More

I have been going to this restaurant for years, despite the fact that you are often very close to your neighbors and there is no time for a leisurely chat after the meal. I try different Vietnamese restaurants in Paris, and always come back to Le Bambou, cuz it's that simple, it's the best.

Staying in Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique

Neighbourhood Profile
Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique
Far off the beaten path, this part of Paris is a forgotten gem worth exploring. Avenue d’Ivry houses Europe's largest Chinatown with great Asian supermarkets and shops, and a thrilling atmosphere around Chinese New Year. Place d’Italie impresses onlookers as soon as they set their eyes on it. Not far, around La Butte aux Cailles, the streets suddenly imitate provincial France and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported. The beauty of these streets lies in their surprises around every twist and turn.
