My boyfriend was recommended Le Chateaubriand by a colleague, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is relaxed and unpretentious, with a classic French bistro feel. The waiting staff were friendly, giving detailed descriptions of each of the courses as they were delivered to...More

Really poor food. Too simple, the portions were too little and the tasting... far from what you can have in Paris. One of my worst experiences so far. Personnel, friendly but not professional.

One Michelinstar! Well the service was very stressed and the courses were presented very quickly and nearly thrown on the table. The food ok but not as nice as we expected. The wines with the food excellent. We got the erong wine once!

The food was unbelievable. I was delightfully surprised that this restaurant was not stuffy in the least. The ambience was very relaxed. The food incredibly elevated. This is a must-try if you have a few days in Paris.

Unfortunately, The Chateaubriand is dead. If you look for a good table in this neighborhood, skip this one. Since they got a star, customer is no longer the king in this place, only the chef is. Waiters are arrogant and if the food is OK,...More

It was my second visit to Le Chateaubriand, and it did not fail to live up to the good expectation. First bit of advice, do reserve a table well in advance to avoid disappointment, I visited on a weekday and it was completely full for...More

I had heard a lot of good things about Le Chateaubriand, but I was surprised to see such mixed reviews online. After eating there, my wife and I are firmly with those who left the restaurant disappointed. The service, as many others have noted, was...More

Several years ago, they were able to very graciously (and deliciously from the reports) accommodate a pescatarian in our group.
