It's a favourite in the 16th arrondissement: A very nice modern french cuisine where great french classics get a modern sometimes asian touch. And you enjoy it either on the beautiful Terasse or inside in a very well arranged setting

We were lucky to dine at Wakinine, a truly modern and beautifully decorated restaurant, that offered us a great dinner. The place offered both seafood and meat, a delicious fouis gra and tasty desserts. Although the menu was in French, we discovered some great food and enjoyed our champagne with our dinner. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone seeking... More

You can rely on Wakine for a quality meal, it's not extraordinary, they don't pretend to be. They just offer great meals, good quality, accommodating friendly service and reasonable value. Have eaten here on a few occasions now whilst on work trips to Paris. For a great mid-week meal I now I can consistently rely upon Wakine.

This restaurant offers classic good food in a somewhat dated decor. Background noise is acceptable.Seating not that comfortable. Efficient service.Nice tableware. My tuna tartare appetizer quite good, lamb chops also good.dessert of fresh berries satisfying. Average wine by the glass.

While in Paris on business my husband and I stumbled upon this Parisian locals gem. Don't hesitate to try, owner and staff speak English, food and service are excellent. I have placed this restaurant on my list of places to eat each time I'm in Paris.

Good little restaurant. They catered well for my family with 3 children (7-11). Food was nice with good wine recommended to match. Wasn't to pricey but typical Paris as you have to squeeze into your seat and I am not American.

Nothing special. They've withdrawn money from my credit card for 2 times, be careful! I sent an email but they didn't answer.

Walked in with the family for dinner. Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. Menu available in English as well. Really liked my eggplant starter but all plates were very good and fresh. Do not pass on dessert as they are excellent with lots of fresh fruit. Quality well above the average bistro and highly recommended.

Thank Peter D

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
