After having selected a delicately scented and smooth white Pouilly which we drank as an aperitif and with our meal, a small bowl of delicious mussells appeared instead of the traditional olives or biscuits. Our starters of gambas and chèvre chaud (warm goat cheese) did not disappoint us. The croustillant de dorade and the ravioles de langoustines which we selected... More

It was centrally located and within 5mins walk from Louvre Museum. The restaurant offers food choice of escargots, oysters, mussels and fish. One interesting thing was that the mussel served free as the appetiser like you used to have with bread. We orders oyster, escargots and sole fish. The food was excellent with friendly service . They have 2 levels... More

Great staff, the reviewers who said they weren't must have been rude. My French is poor, but I tried and from there on they were great. They even brought out complimentary mussels, fantastic flavor and very fresh. Very accommodating. When asked how the fish was cooked they explained to us how but then said, our fish is fresh, you tell... More

Bad food, expensive and untasty. The waiter did his best but was not enough to change the result, bad meal at €170 for two. Better go to Mac Donalds.

This is one of our must visit restaurants each time we come to Paris, sometimes we eat there more than once, it is that good. We are recognised and welcomed each time we return. On seating we are provided with a bowl of mussels in a white wine sauce which is fabulously tasty. The onion soup is excellent and very... More

Finished our Paris trip here and we're not disappointed. The server we very friendly and helpful in making choices. The decor was done with artifacts from the Luxury liner Normandie. I found it charming. Had the mussels that come with every meal, they were wonderful and fresh. We then shared the tandoori shrimp, While I wouldn't call them tandoori they were... More

The drafty dinning room whenever the front door opens - and it's cold outside - ruins whatever else happens in this place. The shell fish was decent - but the Fish soup was way below par. It might as well have come out of a can. And the wine was way too expensive for its low to medium-low quality. The... More

One of the worst restaurant experiences we've had, the waiter was downright rude to us, we had 2 people in our party that are vegetarian and he mocked them and was so rude to all of us. The food was unremarkable, terrible experience in general.

On my last trip to Paris I had two dinners at Vin et Maree. It was close to the hotel and I had been there for oysters on a previous trip. Sit up stairs, more privacy and not open to the street. The service was excellent and the food is delicious. I could not decide on 4 or 5 stars.... More

Small, but very cozy seafood restaurant, right by the Louvre. If you want, in Paris, very fresh oysters and lobsters. And all this, with a good wine. So you have to come to this restaurant. Service is excellent.
