Having spied Prunier in Ave Victor Hugo on our first day in Paris, we were otherwise occupied in other parts of the city until the last day of our visit when we returned to it and had lunch at Prunier. We are so glad we did. It is a more formal and slightly old world setting which at lunch time... More

I've been to this restaurant once and I'm not coming back. I ordered a menu based on codfish that turned out to be in form of a fish moussaka - hot, heavy and insipid. It was eatable, but definitely not worth it's price. The atmosphere was stiff and, honestly I cannot remember a single positive thing about this restaurant.

Dinners with friends in this nice art deco-Russian-style restaurant. We ate seafood platter and drank very good champagne. The big oysters was delicious but the rest was quite mediocre.

With my family we (8) celebrated a birthday and I had ordered a menu arranged the day before. The overall dinner was above my expectations and our guests were very enthusiastic about the quality of the meals served, the excellent cooking and the kindness and efficiency of the service. The place is a tribute to art deco : the decoration... More

The restaurant and its decoration are amazing, genuine art deco panels and stone mosaic . The food is mostly fish and caviar if you can afford it . Don't miss the 3 pots of custards for dessert . It's expensive because the place is historical and products Have to be the freshest.not overcrowed...

This must be one of the prettiest restaurants in the world. Pure 1930's art deco style, it's like stepping into the past (very 'midnight in paris'). Marvel at the mosaic floors and walls, the beautiful lighting, the little nets they put your lemons for the oysters in... Your eyes will have a feast. Your wallet a little less. It is... More

We decided to celebrate here our Silver Anniversary Dinner. I found a postcard of this restaurant dated 1911, from my great uncle, with excelent reviews!! So if the restaurant is still there after 100 years.... is for something and we decided to go. It was an outstanding dinner. They offer all sorts of caviar presented very nice, plus the seafood... I went there for lunch. Started with a glass of champagne, I ordered oysters and clams as starter, salmon as main course, and soufflé. I can only say "excellent"! The seafood were so fresh and decently presented. The service staff were attentive and friendly. Very good experience for sure I'll come back again and recommend to family and friends.

I visited Maison Prunier with a friend I hadn't seen in a long while. When we catch up we like to have lunch in a grand place. Maison Prunier was exquisite. The caviar was divine, the pate perfect, the wine spectacular, and the waiting staff impeccable and non-intrusive. We found them to be helpful in making suggestions, but not imposing.... More
