Don't be put off by the casual air or the casual welcome that this place offers. The reason for the hustle bustle and lack of extra courtesy is that the focus is on the food. Absolutely outstanding - bread, starter, main course and dessert. The...More

Hey guys, don’t even try to make yourself a 3 stars in Michelin guide... I called to make a booking and i was told in a very unpleasant way that only table available at 9.30pm. Then we just asked : when will you start serving...More

What was the point? To post a review marked “horrible” just because you called to make a reservation and we happened to be fully booked. What did you expect us to do? What kind of satisfaction did you get from calling the person who happened...More

For the second time we've been there, and we just enjoyed ! The service is nice with smily and friendly people. The concept is just perfect, one 4 courses menu, no choice ...and the food is very very good. We had a velouté, duck, cheese...More

We remember when this place wasn't known and seemed to actually try to avoid the tourist trade, our first trip became available when our apartment host made the reservation. The night we were there it was pretty much 100% tourists. What was once new and...More

For a small establishment they provide an excellently prepared 4 course meal. The owner was welcoming and was very helpful in selecting a wine for us. I particularly like when there is a set menu for the day as it allows you to focus on...More

I've been here twice (and lived in Paris for almost five years). Booking requires patience and email and, although the food is excellent, I personally believe this place is a bit over-rated. The menu is fixed, which means you eat what the cook prepared. The...More

This beautifully designed and organized bistro offers a fix . Service is attentive and accommodating i, the food is just wonderful !! It is a small bistro - so you must book seats in advance but all efforts are worth the visit !!

Meal was amazing in a warm And cozy environment. Served family style-you felt like you were eating at a French friend’s home who was an excellent cook. Fantastic value-would definitely Go again. Need reservations or you can not get in.

In my many visits to Paris no other restaurant compares to Les Papilles. The dining experience is authentic and intimate with a freshly prepared menu set daily. For 35 euros the 4 course dining experience is in the hands of the incredibly talented chefs. For...More

No choice four-course dinner. Pumpkin soup followed by joues de boeuf (cheeks) slow cooked and very tender. Cheese course consisted of a fairly large chunk of blue cheese and one stewed plum - recommend reversal i.e. halve the cheese portion and double plums. The disappointment...More

Yes. It is safer to reserve as the place is small. You can write an email to the restaurant, address on their website. English works fine and in case you have any allergies/intolerances they are able to adapt the fixed menu.
