I have never been to a restaurant quite like this. Imagine a Bouchon in Lyon where you happily sit cheek by jowl. Add a fixed price four course menu which the brigade has become expert in cooking and serving, throw in a novel method of...More

I read about this restaurant in a blog about Paris and it was described as their “most memorable meal in Paris”... We could not agree more. The food was unreal, soup was to die for. The service was also top notch. I read a few...More

The food was good but this is not the point. You go there, you sit, they tell you what you are going to eat and that's it. Set menu no selection at all Service was very rush. The place is nicely decorated. I don't think...More

A group of 7 of us had Saturday lunch at Les Pailles. Food and service were excellent - all four courses were full of flavour and the accompanying wine was spot on. Recommend booking in advance as it was full. Price reasonable- food, copious wine...More

have visited here twice after recommendation, and you cannot get a better meal for the price (35 euros before wine). Charming, (we were sat both times at the small round table on the first floor). I still remember the carrot soup from my first visit....More

This was the third visit from over the years to Les Papilles for my wife and I and, as ever, we really enjoyed it. You are handing responsibility for your choice of lunch or dinner over to them so, if you want choice or are...More

If you like supper clubs this is pretty close, with all the benefits of a proper restaurant. 1 menu, chosen by the chef on the day based on what's fresh and good.. no choices. Seating is on large tables so be prepared to be sat...More

This was my second visit to this special restaurant. Bertrand makes you feel comfortable and as if you were joining him for an intimate dinner party. The meal started with an amazing asparagus soup served in a beautiful tureen, followed by a pork belly dish...More

I visited Les Papilles for lunch on recommendation of a friend. I was happy (with a booking made two weeks in advance) that they could accommodate a party of 12 people (including a four year-old). The food is very French, but done well and much...More

They have to be kidding. Don’t be fooled by the cozy look of the place or the friendly website. The owner is a pompous snob who dictates, and I do mean dictates, how you will act. There is only a single dish, which this night...More

by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin
once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which

Yes. It is safer to reserve as the place is small. You can write an email to the restaurant, address on their website. English works fine and in case you have any allergies/intolerances they are able to adapt the fixed menu.
