This is a regular stop on every trip to Paris. You cannot go wrong with the beef beef bourguignon. However, if they have osso buco on the menu when visit I can recommend that VERY highly. OMG was it good! :-)

We went to Le Volant as a last minute decision for somewhere close to our hotel that had a decent rating. We were not disappointed. It's hidden down a little side road and when we got there, there were only a handful of people seated. We didn't have a reservation, but that wasn't a problem and we squeezed into a... More

Found this gem hidden away in a quiet street. Stopped in without reservations to find it packed, but they found a little table for us still. Service was very friendly and fast! Felt like we barely ordered and our food arrived. Loved the shared side dishes (rice pilaf, mashed potatoes, and creamy polenta) and everyone enjoyed their meal. By the... More

Always forget to book but usually arrive early and thankfully get a table as it's always busy. No wonder with fantastic food, great service and excellent prices. Looking forward to my next visit already

Nice food in a quaint old world setting. The food is Basque, nothing exquisite but real food, tasty and of quality. One can see the food being prepared through a window through which food is handed to the hostesses and through which the chef watches the goings-on when he is free. The staff are very friendly, speak good English and... More

We arrived here quite late one evening in a hope of getting a table without a reservation. Luckily, after about a ten minute wait a table came free. The food here is amazing! Each table also gets three free sides: rice, amazing mash potato and one other that tasted lovely but I'm not sure what it was. The restaurant is... More

My husband found this charming place through trip advisor near the aparthotel we were staying at for our last night in Paris. The planche de charcuteries with foie gras was excellent. I made the foolish decision not to order the boeuf bourguignon because I wanted something light but fortunately my husband did. My fish was fine, but that bourguignon! I... More

This is a nice place, surprisingly, the hostesses are Polish, and the food is French. The former owner was a car racer, and a very famous gastronome from the south-west of France. The legendary cooking is still in these walls. Excellent, more than excellent, true. No chichi, no blabla just good food, with nice products. As I told, the Polish... More

My fiancé and I were warmly welcomed, the staff spoke very good English and we received our food very quickly, we ordered the beef Bourguignon which was delicious. It was very quiet when we arrived but soon filled up so I recommend booking early.

My husband and I loved this place. It's close to the Eiffel Tower so there are a few trains you can take to get here. It seemed like a locals spot which was nice, so you know you're going to get a quality meal. When you walk the bar is right there. Our reservation was for 9, we arrived around... More
