Even though we've been to Paris a bunch of times and stayed in the area, we never managed to eat here. There is no menu. You get salad, steak with their 'secret' pepper sauce and frites in the French style. The price includes 2 helpings of steak and frites, maybe more if you ask. The place was packed with local... The place was recommended by our hotel and it didn't disappoint. The entrecôte was served properly medium rare and even if they did their usual second service, we made room for desert. It was equally delicious. A wonderful evening.

I had no idea when my family brought me here. They said steak...I said meh. I had NO idea. This is classic Paris at its best. Decor. Food. Service. All top notch and one of a kind.

I have come here with 10 colleagues on a Thursday evening without reservation, knowing that a theater appointment would require us to be fast. The team not just managed to accommodate us but was also understanding our need for speed. Within one hour in a very busy restaurant we got served a salad for starters, a double serving of entrecôte... More

My wife and I visited Paris with our son and his spouse. Le Relais de L'Entrecote was recommended to us and we so we went there. The restaurant is comparatively upscale and the prices are fairly high. The price point is why I gave it four stars instead of five. Our dining experience, which did include a moderately priced bottle... More

called Food. Every bite I had to take to Finish the Meal was the most Pleasant , yet Sad, by the fact that it disappears. Worth the Price, never regret risking the fact of zero budget left at the moment. Happy to be broke. Two thumbs up!

Love going to this place! We visit it every time we go to Paris. its a little out of the way but what a fun place to go to for dinner. It doesn't open until 7:00 and do expect a line, we were there an hour in advance and it fills up fast. The choice on the menu is steak... More

Delicious thinly sliced steak drizzled with a green herb sauce that I wish I could bring home in a bottle. This restaurant only serves steak and frites- no substitutions! Loved the concept and simplicity, if you're looking for something more complex there's an extensive dessert list! Creme brûlée was divine!

Dinner was delicious. The atmosphere and service were great at this restaurant. We enjoyed the steak frites so much that we ended up going to another place the next night. I liked the sauce and the mustard better at the other one, but this one had more tender steak and way better atmosphere and service. Everything was great - will... More

Ok. If you are looking for fancy places and menus plenty of pasta and other main courses, this place is not for you. No menu. Just French fries and steak. That's it. It is not really cheap but, as a tourist, it could worth a stop. Few waiters speak a bare English so I had few problems chatting with. Good... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
