This restaurant is phenomenal and deserves the 3 Michelin stars. Food was extraordinary and the service was unpretentious and extremely accommodating. Try the caviar dishes, amazing. The food is unique and fuses contemporary with traditional. It is quiet and romantic, the acoustics are wonderful. Tables are widely set apart for privacy. There is an army of staff there to satisfy... More

Ambience is great; Bois de Boulogne setting is beautiful; service is fine. We had the multi course menu. Each dish was prepared with utmost care and each looked beautiful in every respect. Unfortunately, not as much attention was paid to the taste aspect. The flavors were rather flat and disappointing. Nothing we ate was mouth-watering delicious. Nothing was memorable. Considering... The restaurant is in Bois de Boulogne which means in a charming parc outside of crowdy down town. The mean room is just amazing. The food is a real 3 stars Michelin level. All the dishes are absolutely unique and it is likely the best Cote Rotie Shiraz I had there. Prices are sky high but ration quality price is... More

For one, no restaurant on earth looks like it and makes any in North America look like a diner. Then its location. With Le Grand Cascade its in the Bois de Bolounge. The chef comes from 2stars, 3starsBoyer, 3stars Rubichon. In 97 upon arrival it had 1. Two years later in 1999 2. Finally in 2007 3. Dinner is hardly... More

For being such a "fancy" place, the waiters were crossing one to serve the next person, another could not explain what was in the dish we ordered... Food was very good, but the place is quite "stuck up", old world style, without it being able to measure up to the really excellent places it competes with.

I really wanted to like this restaurant but I just didn't. The servers were great and they really knew a lot about the menu and answered all of our questions with detailed answers, and they made sure that we were comfortable and all of our needs were met. The chef is great, too, but I think my problem was that... More

It is very rare to review something were you have to hold your enthusiasm. The lunch at Le Pre Catalan will be in my memories for ever. To start you're greeted by Mr. Chauveau who makes you feel at home. Then the menu offer is superb and the quality of the food difficult to match. All plates are done with... More

The setting, service and most importantly the food make this 3 Michelin star restaurant a wish list item for many. We were fortunate to get a reservation and enjoy a spectacular meal. I read some of the poor reviews and feel that for some they do not understand what fine dining is supposed to be and represent. If you do,... More

The restaurant is located in a very quiet and private area and the decoration inside is elegant. Delicious food and great service, overall a perfect experience.
