I had not been there for about 3 years and to return to this most beautiful place is just a wonder. Service is faultless and not pompous and the food is just superb. I had never been disappointed there and it is just a pleasure to be in that beautiful environment

We went back to the Grand Vefour 3 weeks ago and we had once more a fabulous experience. It is a combination of décor (the absolutely most beautiful restaurant in Paris), service (attentive, unpretentious and with excellent advice. Part of the team has been there for 15 years which tells you something about the place. They love being there and... More

Where the concept of restaurant have been invented. If you like "food" you have to try the "pigeon prince rainier" or the "Ravioles de foie gras, crème foisonnée truffée" one time in you life. 300 to 500€ for a dinner.

Service was overstaffed, but neither very efficient nor attentive. Time until first course arrived was too long. Same applies to service by sommelier. Food was well cared for. Worth a visit. Cheeses were extraordinaryly delicious and well chosen.

In case you are a serious diner, the Grand Vefour is an absolute must. Historically being the oldest restaurant in the world, it's impeccable and delightful decor in the Palais Royale is truly unique. We had the tasting menu and our expectations were not only met but exceeded. Take a lot of time and especially a lot of appetite, because... More

Returned on a cold January night for another decade Birthday dinner. Our table was noted as one that Victor Hugo sat at ordering the same meal each time. I decided to be very adventurous and try dishes I have not ordered before anywhere: Sea Urchins followed by the most divine Sweet bread. We savored a lovely champagne, followed by a... More

This historicle temple of 2 michelin stars rewarded restaurant, still decorated in a style of like 300 years ago serves food that is no longer qualifying as great food. The starter of ravioli with fois gras and a fois gras avec kumquat was oke but not great, thinking of a 100€ pp starter? And 2 bites of the foi gras... More

And it's a happy occasion. The room is very special. I don't know anyplace else with murals like these. And certainly there's no place else with windows looking out on les Jardins du Grand Palais. Wow! The lunch menu was limited but everything we ate was excellent and beautifully presented. The lobster bisque was unique - flavored with Asian spices... More

Was really looking forward to an amazing experience at Le Grand Vefour. We've been to our share of starred restaurants: I would question whether this one deserves star at best. Mediocre food: nothing fresh or inspiring; infact some of the puddings were sickly. Appalling service, with staff that lacked any enthusiasm for the food or customers. The interior is impressive,...
