My worst visit in years last night for a business dinner. Lousy service, moody waiter, overcooked langoustines, for a very embarrassing evening with guests. While this has been one of my favorites for years, I will simply not take the risk to bring guests again....More

The food at Le Dome was excellent. We shared the Sea Bass with Fennel au gratin and it was wonderful. Excellent and polite service with the restaurant filled with locals. Great experience!

Eating raw seafood is risky. Not knowing whether the food is fresh makes it difficult to choose a restaurant. I chose Le Dome because this establishment has been an institution known for seafood dinner and seafood platter is one of their specialties. The four of...More

What a treat eating at this fabulous restaurant! This is our first time in Paris, and to be staying so close we had to try it. Service was fantastic. Our waiter, Yaun made us feel right at home. He was very attentive and quite funny!...More

We ate there tonight. I had John Dory, which was wonderful. Others had delicious fish soup and fresh oysters. Our servers were terrific. It is expensive.

I know what you're talking about. I had the same experience when I asked the female bartender at Le Dome if they had a menu in English. She was very rude to me. This place does not like Americans. I also went across the street to the Lebar A Huitres and had a great meal. When I asked them if they had a menu in English they responded with "Why of course we do please come in right this way." They treated me great and I returned the next day as well and left big tips both days for the great service I received from them. I honestly think the best thing going for Lebar A Huitres is the very rude and lousy staff at Le Dome. I have read so many reviews where the staff at Le Dome so rudely treated potential customers that the customers left and went across the street. How can blame them?

Outdoors, on the terrace, you can dress up like Big Bird, and no one would notice. But in the evening, inside Le Dome for dinner or drinks, and at all other better cafes, there is a subtle, informal code that discourages... More
