Best flavor ever VANILIA ! I didn't really liked the one with violet or rose (too intense flavor for me). But mild and common flavors worth the try too. Romantic place like a palace. Beautiful environment

Amazing, if rather expensive. They perfectly capture the essence of every flavor of macaroon. My favorite was the pistachio, rose, and coffee.

Visited on a Monday morning at 10am and there was no one. The lights were barely on and it felt like the place was asleep. However we were greeted upstairs by a lady whom I just can't remember the name (started with M,.. Macay? Or something) and she was very polite and attentive. The menu was good you can have... More

PRO'S: This is a true relic of traditional French lunch or midday tea room. Plan at least 90 minutes for lunch. This white napkin/ table cloth restaurant in long on tradition with average food and shockingly priced. CON'S: Even in Paris, 65€ for two sandwiches & tea is too much for average food. SUMMARY: There are many fine restaurants in... More

Best gift to bring home. True taste of Paris. Just realised that they do have a store in Airport. You could buy couple of boxes as gift.

We were told by a friend to also try this Laduree after our visit to the Champs Élysées location as the tea room at the back was worth visiting. Unfortunately it was full and the wait was long (we didn't have time to wait) so we opted to buy some cakes to go and then eat them down by the... More

No matter whats is your favourite type of cake this place will change your sense of taste! The colours of interrior, helpful staff, exposure of different types of cakes makes it more french than you can imagine. I tasted macarons and few different cakes, each one was fantastic.

Because I had a very good experience at this Ladurée from my previous trip to Paris, I wanted to go there again. This time it was not a very good experience, I should say. I went there for breakfast on Sunday and their large room downstairs was closed. Instead, people were packed in a very small and depressing (very low... More

Oh my goodness! The hot chocolate alone is enough reason to come here every day. It's the richest and most delicious you'll ever have. Yes, really. Quiet inside and great place to stop for a mid day break.

First, let me begin by saying I love macaroons and I would be hard pressed to say there are ever macaroons that I don't enjoy but the macaroons at Laduree are stellar. The salted caramel had a rich caramel filling and was delicious. We tried 6 different kinds and they all were 5 stars. If you have ever wondered what... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
