Very close to Moulin Rouge( just 3 minutes walk) , we chose this place to have dinner before our 9 pm show. The greeting on our arrival was the most welcoming we received in Paris. We opted for inside seating. We had a glass of white wine, the waiter helped us with the choice ensuring we get wine as per... More

We ate there two time on our four day trip to Paris. We ordered glass of wine, and the waiter made sure to ask wich type of wine we liked ect. We tried their cheese plate, pizza, pasta and tiramisu. All made perfect! A must visit in Paris.

We were staying in Montmartre and chose to have dinner here on our very last night...and we wish we had come sooner! Wonderful Italian food, pleasant wait staff and a great dining experience.

Would love to go back... More

We have been welcomed by 2 very friendly (young) gents. A nice place. A bit small but big enough too accomodate about 20 (?) guest in the front part. They have a nice manual cutting machine on the tiller. The parma ham was cut extremely fine, almost transparant. No mistakes with the pizza's. My wife does not like cheese, and... More

A tasty Italian restaurant ran by three French men ?

That is the gourmet challenge Thibault, Guillaume et Vivien gave themselves, by taking over the restaurant la Rughetta, located 41 Lepic Street, Paris XVIII.

A cosy and cheerful place, simple yet tasty meals, cooked with fresh food, that's what you'll get by stepping into this colourful place, up to thrill Montmartre's people and all lovers of the XVIIIth district of Paris.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
