Arrived for lunch, with reservation, & first impressions were nice, classy place with buzz. Just being shown to seat by maitre d' when his old friends/customers showed up & we were rather rudely dumped! Loitered uncomfortably for a while & eventually prompted him that we were left hanging & with an unceremonious wave (hardly breaking the chatter with his pals!)... More

If you love souffles, this restaurant is a must-try. From starter to dessert the souffles melt in your mouth. Service is cordial and the restaurant is cozy. Located in the 7th it's a great place to go after shopping at Le Bon Marché or in Saint Germain des Près.

Very pleasant setting with polite and friendly service. The foie gras was delicious (maybe a bit more jam :) ) and the grand marnier souffle lived up to everything I had read about it. I liked especially the bottle accompanying the desert so you could add as much or even more than you like :)

The soufflés are the best. I would recommend one for every course, except the entree which should be a simple salad. Did you know that Presidents Clinton, Bush & Obama ate here and that President Bush invited the chef to the White House and that he accepted? A very gentile neighborhood of Paris and a very beautiful Parisian experience.

Souffles are great, the small side salads are perhaps even better. Excellent spot with a contemporary decor with a lot of literary references. Short but excellent wine list. The nighborhood's upscale extablishment flocks there. Reservations recommended at night.

This was my first visit in the winter months - when the outside seating is closed. The interior is small and cozy, but eating outside in the spring and fall is equally or more delightful. The menu here never disappoints. My colleague and I shared the Coquille St Jacques (scallop) and the spinach soufflé. Both were fantastic - light, airy,... More

I have never posted any reviews before but I feel that this deserves a mention. My partner and I dined in for a quick meal we wanted to try the small portions of soufflé and some tea, however the waiter was not very friendly and patient with our order and must have put in the wrong size. We kindly notified... More

Great soufflés, nice ambiance, friendly and talented chef! Highly recommend the scallop soufflé - the lemon-butter sauce is exquisite. I live in Paris and eat out regularly. Take my word for it - the sauce is unforgettable! Roasted pineapple dessert soufflé also light and tasty! A restaurant definitely worth visiting.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
