The lunch deal at l'Enoteca is a near miracle in the Marais, where every meal costs more than other areas in Paris, less quantity if the price is same. No wonder their 40-ish seats are always filled day and night by locals or the expats in the know. Only 16 euros for either ‘entree and main’ or ‘main and desert.’... More

This place is very average. There is a nice atmosphere, the food is OK, the staff is nice enough. However, there is nothing special. You will not be completely disappointed, and you will not really desire to go back the next night. The food is italian, yet the staff is not italian or speak italian, they seen to also lack... More

The place is a bit run down. had been few years ago which was very good but now the quality just gone down the drain. went with kids and asked for a simple pasta al pomodoro. they said no tomatoes...so cannot do. asked if any simple dish can be done for kids. they said no. so we just left...not recommended!

On the first evening we had a stroll and noticed a good looking Italian place nearby. We couldn’t resist a change up and luckily this place delivered. It was absolutely full, had a great atmosphere, and some of the most abrupt (but fine) service imaginable. We were not here for a big meal as last night was massive, and all... More

Why Italian food in Paris? Because this restaurant is a real deal in the Marais, the tourist trap. A local person had recommended this place and one Sunday evening I gave it a try. It was packed with local families who would not even glance at those ever sprouting fusion restaurants. Fusions do not always work and some places are... More

Nice ambience, but food lacked flavour for an Italian. We had a made on premises ravioli so expected much better. Had a nice 2009 Barbaresco to accompany Coffee good and service fine

There are a litany of places to go in Marais, but we were recommended L'Enoteca by a Parisian for its authentic Sardinian cuisine. Note: if you're not into seafood, this is not for you. The restaurant was off the beaten path which was a big plus for us. The pricing was by far not the worst we'd seen in Paris,... More

We were there with friends. Service was ok, but my main course (pasta) was much too spicy and the dinner was very expensive (90 €).

I have been there twice during trips to Paris and it has been good each time. I love the cosy, somewhat quirky atmosphere upstairs in the "library". The service is friendly and helpful. The food is good, as is the wine (due to the huge choice, the wine waiter is a blessing).

Really cozy and charming petit restaurant in Paris. My friend and I had the Menu of the day (a glass of wine, main course and dessert) for 15 euros. Delicious homemade food.

In the heart of the 4th district; the Marais district, Enoteca is a fine Italian restaurant that has made a name for itself for its love of wine. The restaurant has its own discreet and rustic charm with its ceiling lights, beams and visible stonework. Its warm colours also give it an inviting mood. The Italian dishes are prepared with regional produce that are imported directly from Italy. The wine cellar was voted best Italian wine cellar, with 400 labels.

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
