Most Michelin star restaurants do not welcome diners with eating restrictions (gluten free/diary free/no shellfish etc.) Not so at L'Arpege where they created amazing options. While the tasting menu was out of the question, I had five amazing options, which was more than enough for me! Alain Passard made a point of personally welcoming each and every diner. The night... I took my wife to l'arpege for her birthday to have the lunch tasting menu and although we had high expectations chef passard delivered for sure. The linch tasting menu will cost you €145 per person but i think it is a great value since we got 15 amazing dishes for it. I did not know that vegetables could taste... More

My husband and I were in Paris for a month and after seeing the Netflix documentary on Alain Passard I was really interested in dining at Arpege. We are not complete vegetarians but we definitely lean in that direction. The dinner was out of our price range but the lunch is very reasonable. We've eaten at French Laundry in Yountville,... I wanted to explore Passard's creations based on my friend's recommendation on must-eat locations in paris. So we went and we were not disappointed! He has done amazing things with veggies! I would consider vegetarianism if I can sample his cuisine every day! We had the Risotto onctueux aux trésors de nos jardins! Wow, what a delight. Go and be... More

We had lunch reservations at L’Arpège. We had previously done lunches at Guy Savoy’s and Joël Robuchon’s restaurants and both of them had exceeded the hype. We hoped Alain Passard wouldn’t let us down. He did. We knew that L’Arpège predominantly featured vegetables. Not being vegetarians, in fact being serious protein lovers, we were skeptical. But the reviews were so... More

I have wanted to dine at L'Arpege for years. Recently, I finally had a chance to experience. I am a vegetarian so looked forward to the vegetarian tasting menu for dinner. Food: -The food was just lovely. The authentic flavors, the creativity, the beauty - I can see, taste, and experience the talent of Chef Alain Passard. I enjoyed each... More

Having read so much about this restaurant I decided to try the degustation menu which included lobster and poultry. I must say that the vegetable creations are much more impressive than the meat dishes. The duck and chicken was rather ordinary whereas the beetroot tartar was outstanding. The portions were very substantial and I had difficulty when the desserts arrived.... More

I've been here 5 times over the past 25 years, and each meal has been astonishing in one way or another. My recent visit a few days ago was the same: a perfectly cooked, perfectly paced meal involving the very best seasonal vegetables (we ordered the all-vegetarian menu du marché). While not every one of the 12 course was perfection,... More

I went there for lunch today and totally blowed away by all the dishes. I did not know veggie dishes could be that good until now. I was in heaven and was enjoying every dish. Other than the great creations from the kitchen, the service were excellent as well. I really appreciate their service. The chef - Alain came out... More

It was with great anticipation that I dined here on August 31 with my French friend for 50 years, a countess who lives a short distance from the restaurant, We were immediately swarmed by very young and pushy hostess and waiters who could not explain the menu choices in either French or English (and frankly didn't seem to care at...
