Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I chose this restaurant after reading the good reviews. We ordered the lamb shank and it came out pretty impressive with the rosemary set alight. The lamb shank was cooked well, however I was struggling to covered my whole meal (lamb shank and mashed potatoes)...with the gravy. This made it quite dry in the end. My daughters ordered the beef and again, the gravy was very light on and the beef was overcooked. We asked for the beef to be cooked "medium". We went to pay for the meal and the card declined. So I used cash and the waitress didn't have any change. She suggested we walk to change the money but she found 10 Euro in her purse, so I had to settle for incorrect change. Leaving me feel quite annoyed. I wouldn't bother going back, nothing great.More

Best meal ever. We would travel back to Paris just to eat here. Cozy space, lovely staff, yummy wine and food. Our friend, a local, said this was the best French food in Paris and she wasn’t lying. Love love love!

A small restaurant but with very good seasoning in the food. Very good service from the waiter. A great option to try good quality French food.

Cozy little French restaurant with unbelievably delicious food! The atmosphere was very welcoming, the staff were very friendly and suggested our wine for the night which was amazing. We found this spot while walking around Montmarte and thankfully we were lucky to get a spot...as it doesn't have many tables. Menu is seasonal but we had the duck and steak. Of course we also had starters and dessert as everything was reasonably priced.More

Fabulous restaurant, our favourite of the weekend. Few minutes walk from Moulin Rouge. Would recommend booking if you want a specific time, we called in on off chance and it was full, so booked a table and went for a drink for an hour. Food...was scrummy, goats cheese in filo with honey and nuts, I had lamb shank in orange and rosemary and hubby had a pork dish. Dessert was apple tart for me and cheese for hubby. Waiter was really friendly and chatty.More

Totally unassuming little place but we were bowled over with how delicious the food was. Very friendly waiter who warmly welcomed us. We were staying just opposite and this was too goo to be true! Duck breast to die for. Perfectly cooked with honey and...rosemary and sweet potato purée. Also lamb shank with rosemary. All amazing and gluten free plus a GF chocolate cake to finish.More

If you spot this hidden gem then you have found a good spot for food. The food it very good, My partner and I had a lovely big piece of Steak & mash cooked to perfection. There’s no advertisement boards out side so don’t miss...it and walk by. Lovely staff, fitted us in between there bookings & made us English feel welcome. Limited menu. We had table wine that could have been a little better. The table we was on was black and sticky & the toilet wasn’t to good that let it down for us and if had a little TLC would have been a 5 star. Thanks again.More

We had reservations for a 9:15 dinner on a cold and very windy night after strolling around Sacre-Coeur and Montmarte and felt so good settling into this small cozy vintage one-room restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed for any occasion. The menu is small...(changing often) but still accommodates diverse interests and most importantly, everything on it very good. Yes, the amazing food was the best part and immensely delicious throughly. The Escargot for appetizers were divine topped with hot garlic butter sauce, which even converted my young son to become a fan of it. The lamb chop was the highlight at the restaurant followed by a vibrant vegetarian dish and then a steak, each of which we had and were artfully presented yet rich and intense in flavor. We paired dinner with a bottle of Chateau La Gabarre, Bordeaux, 2020, which was light to medium-bodied with a pronounced but balanced zesty finish. Dinner and wine very reasonably priced. Le Jeu, who was both the manager and operator of everything that night, helped me make reservations online and was friendly. Overall, we thank the restaurant for a wonderful relaxing evening and meal, recommend it highly to others, and plan to return again!More

I don’t know if it was the terrine or the fish, but I got the worst food poisoning ever. Thanks to this restaurant my whole Paris trip was ruined. And I know it wasn’t a virus I got somewhere else, because my boyfriend didn’t get...sick. It was definitely the food! Don’t go eating here, unless you’re only gonna have some wine, the wine was good.More

Delightful, quaint, French ! Not many tables, but room enough for private conversations. Samples of wine and suggestions for the food. Delicious meal and wine on a quiet street.

Great cosy restaurant tucked away on a quiet cobbled street off the main stretch near Moulin Rouge. We had not booked but were offered a table within the hour- we had a drink elsewhere before returning. It was well worth the wait. Fantastic service and...food. We were a table of 2, both had 3 courses and shared a bottle of wine- all came in around 110€. Very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend. Worth booking in advance as there are few tables.More
