After searching online for somewhere to go for a special meal while in Paris. We wanted to go somewhere we hadn’t heard of and we were lucky enough to come across Chez Toinette, an absolute hidden gem.
We had the duck and steak for main...course and they were both incredible. The service was impressive and our waiter incredibly patient and helpful.
Would recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable meal in Paris.More
This little place is the quintessential French restaurant. The food was out of this world. I highly recommend the escargot. The service was excellent and they cater to your every need. You will need reservations as this place is a bit small.
The service is friendly, Perfect, efficient. The room is clean. It‘s Not big, better to make a reservation. Every meal is selfmade. We had a delicious „foie gras mi-cuit „. Then I had a „boeuf bourguignon“ perfect cooked (meat was soft), as the „entrecote „...and the fish of my Friends. Then we finished we a wonderfull „pain perdu „. All we ate was tasty. It was nice for us to appreciate the real french gastronomie which was delicius in any point. The waiter advise us a wine totaly adapted to our choice. We keep this place as one of our favorite in Paris. The price is fair for this quality, especially in this area. We end nicely our journey in Paris at this Place. Thanks to all the staff , we felt wellcome from the first second! We will come back here for sure!More
We had a very nice meal with delicious Parisian food. The menu is fairly large and varied and the prices were very reasonable. It almost felt like we traveled back in time and could have been dining with some of the artists who made Mont...Martre home for a time.More
We went to Chez Toinette as we were recommended it by a close friend. We had high expectations due to this recommendation and the food and service surpassed this! Beautiful food. As soon as you leave you'll want to go straight back!
This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and they were absolutely right! From the minute we walked through the door everything was perfect. Sadly it was our last night in Paris otherwise we would have eaten our way through the menu! I can strongly recommend...the St Marcellin, bavette de bœuf, pain perdu and the mi cuit chocolate désert. The service was excellent and very friendly. One of the best restaurants in Paris. We’ll definitely be backMore
We have eaten here quite a few times and it is always such an enjoyable meal. Valentines Day was no exception. Musa has an amazing memory for faces and he always remembers us. The restaurant was busy and he has expanded (great to see). I...had the escargots, beef filet and the molten chocolate cake. My husband had the foie gras, duck breast and crepe brûlée. Very lovely meal, the kitchen really had it going well! Always a pleasant evening here.More
Found this restaurant via Tripadvisor and what a great find. Managed to book a table via Facebook which took a bit of effort after initial slow reply. Apart from that everything was excellent-lovely food and wine. Service was good although very busy. It is a...small place and very busy but a good atmosphere. We will be back when we next visit Paris.More
We try to visit this restaurant every time we are in Paris and this was no exception. We were recognised when we came through the door and couldn’t have been greeted more warmly.
The food is amazing, the atmosphere is incredible and service is fabulous....I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. To be sure of a table you need to book but this really is a must when in Paris.More
