I consider myself a foodie and i have tried numerous restaurants in Paris; L'ami Jean remains my favorite place so far. This bistronomy food is amazing and the rice pudding desert is to crave for.

Where do I start... Wow. We visited l'ami jean while on our first holiday together as a couple. First of all, what such an amazing city Paris turned out to be. A city where you turn the corner and the next minute you are dwarfed...More

We went for the 6 course menu, which came with the stated 6 courses plus two desserts, and every bite was fantastic. The restaurant doesn't look very fancy, and we almost changed our mind about eating there, but i'm glad we did not. The chef...More

We were a bit intimidated at the beginning of the meal. The waitstaff is intense, the chef is intense (lets of yelling), and it's quite boisterous and loud (and tight quarters). But we got into the groove and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the excellent...More

Based on a television show we LOVE to watch (I'll Have What Phil's Having), my husband and I chose to dine here on our last night in Paris. What an absolute dream come true! It was slightly spur of the moment decision-making and we booked...More

Description
L'Ami Jean is a Parisian restaurant. Chef Stephane Jego, born in Britain, wanted to keep some of the BASQ identity ue of the restaurant when he resumed teaching in 2002, and made it one of the jewels of the trend of the gastro-bistro capital. Trained by Yves Camdeborde to Regalade in the 90s, Stephan started to stand on its own feet ten years later to provide insider unique culinary experiences, sincere and renewed. Because the constant questioning is his credo. Around a cohesive team, it offers exceptional products through recipes (re) invented daily, always claiming a special relationship with many producers. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday.
