Booked this place as we were nearby and there was a discount on the app we were using. I have to say it is really one of the best restaurants we have been to in Paris. First of all, Parisians are not known for their...manners. However the staff in this restaurant were top notched. They were extremely polite and enthusiastic and answered our questions in perfect English! We shared the starters and desserts between the 2 of us and the food were nicely served in 2 plates, each of which looked like a single serving in itself! For the mains, I had the duck which was fantastic and cooked just nice! Sure the prices are not cheap but for the food and service it was definitely worth it and I would not hesitate to come back in the future!!More

There is a lot to like about this restaurant. The food is excellent. There are some interesting wines to choose from and the maitre d' is charming. The dining area is very comfortable and there is outside seating for warmer days. Given its location, I...think it is best to go at lunchtime if you want a bit of atmosphere. Au 41 is absolutely fab - immaculate service (utterly flawless) and a very capable kitchen sum up this little place in the 8e. We had a super meal of fois gras poelee, a “carbonara” which was actually poached eggs over calamari rather than pasta, cod...on beans and chorizo, veal filet cooked perfectly pink and two supremely executed desserts (Mille Feuilles and a chocolate molten surprise) this is a highly competent kitchen with flawless technical execution. Seriously, good value with impeccable service, will definitely return and thank you for a memorable Paris evening.More

We like to eat here once a year when we visit Paris. The restaurant is modern and fresh in décor, though in summer it could use more AC. It is a busy lunch spot, but quieter for supper. The server was new to us this...time, but friendly and efficient in his work. The kitchen produces top quality food which is why we return. We again brought guests with us who were new to this restaurant and they too enjoyed their meals. We will continue to return.More
