Really nice dinner on a Sunday night in Alcazar. Food was great, service was top class. Really enjoyed it. Restaurant is beautiful, although I must say it was a little bit too bright ( in my opinion). Highly recommended.

For Valentine's Day myself and my partner made a reservation here opting for the 55 euro menu per person. This included a 3 course meal and drinks, which much to our surprise was a bottle of champagne which would have been priced at 85euro on the menu. Great deal! To start I had the ceviche of seabass which was divine,... More

We've been a few times over the years; concluded on this visit it was better before it was redecorated. It used to be modern and trendy. Now it just looks brown. Not really trendy, just looks like it needs re doing again. And they've got loads of cheap and flimsy cane chairs which wobbly a bit and don't give you... More

L’Alcazar is the ideal restaurant for a dinner between friends. The place is spacious and cosy, with lovely booths. Tables are not too close to one another and the décor with green plants is charming. We were also pleasantly surprised by the food. I thought that as this trendy restaurant was famous for its “ambiance” the quality of food would... More

We had a lunch and that was, in a fantastic weekend, the only wrong place to be: the food is ok, but not special. The place is nice but the team was not interested, not involved, especially the lady at the Front. We had the idea that we were disturbing. People said yes, we are coming but no way. What... More

Dear Virginie, Thank you for having shared your experience of Alcazar on Trip Advisor. We are very disappointed as it seems that, with the exception of the service, you appreciated our restaurant. We are very concerned by the satisfaction of our clients and make our best to reach it ..... without being shielded from an incident. It seems that you... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a travel concierge company so therefore I am not surprised. This is definitely a tourist trap. Our waiter was so sweet so we felt bad leaving . We ordered a basic dinner and it was terrible. The restaurant decor is outdated and looks unkempt. Unfortunately our table was next to the plants in... More

Dear Simone, We are very surprised and disappointed by your comment! Indeed, if our restaurant did not correspond to your wishes for this evening, we are not the tourist trap in the out-of-date decoration you have described. Alcazar has totally changed of look 1 year ago, transformed by Laura Gonzalez, the interior designer about whom all Paris speaks. I am... More

Went for drinks after dinner. Great atmosphere good drinks. DJ got the crowd dancing a little after 11 on Friday and serious fun by 12. Classy but not too formal. Mojitos were excellent!

The decoration is lovely, with much green around. The atmosphere is very young and high spirits. A little noisy for my 80 years-old aunt, but my 18 daughter, my 40 cousin and I loved it. The food was great. I started with poached egg with asparagus. Then the duck. I would go back again for sure.

Found this restaurant online in advance of travelling to Paris. We were caught by the beautiful pictures of the restaurant and the menu too. The place looked even better in real life. The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere with background music coming from their funky bar upstairs. Staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly. Food was fine and perhaps slightly over... More

Serving the best cuisine from both sides of the channel, Alcazar restaurant and bar offers a very traditional French ambience in the famous Saint Germain de Près district near the School of Fine Arts. The glass ceiling fills the lower dining area with natural light and gives a bright and airy feel. The eclectic menu features primarily French cuisine, with produce such as Smoked Salmon or the House Foie Gras, not to mention the original Raspberry and Liquorice Vacherin dessert. A more contemporary atmosphere can be found on the mezzanine floor overlooking the restaurant, where you can sample the extensive cocktail list whilst listening to a diverse selection of house music from some of the best Parisian DJs. Another unique experience can be enjoyed on Monday night, where you can dine with the accompaniment of classical music from Véronique Chevalier and her musicians.
