This is a great restaurant, with a great setting, excellent food (i would recommend the beef chuck with red wine sauce and the profiteroles) and wonderful opera singers. The combination of great food and great singers makes this restaurant a wonderful place to visit in Paris!!! I Highly recommend it!

Our booking through La Fourchette was lost and this almost ruined our evening as the restaurant was full, but thankfully a table was found for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. A great menu, superbly delivered in a lovely setting with live opera is a magical combination that never disappoints. A meal here really puts the final gloss on... More

Restaurant with a little opera singing thrown in sound good and the singing wasn't bad at all but the food was awful and at €85 the set menu was expensive. Chicken as a main dish consisted of one small leg and thigh that had clearly been left under a heat lamp for an age. Quite awful. Avoid.

We had no idea about the entertainment, and were so surprised! This was an evening of wonderful opera, goose bumps, very good food and wine. Expensive - yes - but worth it!

Went there on a Tuesday evening. clientele all 55 and over. Opera singers were great. I don't care for opera singing but my friend does, so I went. Dinner very sub standard. Drinks not included. 85 euros pre fix menu. The best part of the "show/dinner" was the piano player. He was truly fantastic. However, I would not go again.... More

Wonderful! My husband and I went for dinner and the food and opera were both great! I was skeptical going in - I had been to a similar concept restaurant in Budapest that was like bad dinner theater (is there good dinner theater?). That place was uncomfortable at best. But this is not that. It was lovely and well-done. The... More

We were booked into this establishment for a Saturday evening meal, knowing very little about it. Upon arriving the night began with wonderful service & a brilliant pianist playing in the background. Then soon after orders taken, the waiters began their Opera singing, with some great renditions of popular operatic songs. If you get the chance to attend Bel Canto... More

A fixed price menu 85euros with options . All courses very good , quality wine list , service from bi lingual staff excellent . However the entertainment was exceptional. Tenor, baritone , three sopranoes accompaigned by two first class pianists really made the occasion . The entertainers also acted as waiters which added to the mystique and fun. All songs... More

Second time for us to spend an evening at Bel Canto, and we loved it just as much as the first time! I find the concept of "singing waiters and waitresses" brilliant. It's an excellent way of enjoying a delicious meal while listening to opera arias. Great food, and the service was more attentive this time compared to our previous... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
