We discovered this restaurant for lunch near Les Halles and Saint Eustache Catholic Church after mass on Sunday. It specializes in pork dishes. Atmosphere was very formal, with white table cloths, waiters in coats and ties; all very elegant. Food was excellent with desserts to...More

I highly recommend a visit to Au Piec de Cochon. The food (especially the French onion soup!) is delicious and the service was wonderful. Very good for dinner and it has been one of our favourites for a long time now.

Must reserve, otherwise at normal dinner time no chance of getting a table. It's open 24/7 what is really great and the variety is big, from their specialty, the "pied de cochon" , oisters, normal meat, fish and so on. Service was perfect and very...More

Had a late night dinner after a night tour of the Louvre Museum. This restaurant is easy walking from the Louvre. Very Traditional Parisian. Well established business for 47 years. Lots of pork cooked many ways. If you don't desire pig the large menu has...More

My Parisian friends took me there to enjoy Saturday lunch on the terrace. We shared "une planche de Charcuterie" and fromage with lots of red wine. Very good quality, service and reasonable price. Good time Parisian style !

Over the past 46 years I have been here several times, most recently today. Even though it's been more than 41 years since I was last here it was still an outstanding place to be. First off, there French onion soup is legendary, billed as...More

If you search for their name in Google they actually have an English menu that lists what they have to offer. Not much for vegetarians that I can see, unless they eat seafood?

The ovens at Au Pied de Cochon were fired up in 1946 and they have never been turned off since. Au Pied de Cochon is a Paris institution, very near the Centre Pompidou, on your way from shopping the first arrondissement to the sightseeing the Marais. It is decorated with a profusion of Art Nouveau stylistic touches, like mirrors, fantastic chandeliers, paintings of lovely ladies. There is also an enticing terrace, and, as it's open 24/7, you can come in anytime for a meal and to watch the world go by. Menu is French. Try starter of oysters of several types and sizes, house special main course of pig's trotter stuffed with duck liver and pudding of babas au rhum.
