The service was perfect, sommelier, maitre d'hotel and waiters were utterly competent, and did not get involved in our privacy, only to check if everything was ok on a regular basis. Chef Jean-Pierre Vigato came over to see us and was super friendly. We had a "menu decouverte" with wines being paired with every dish perfectly, from appetizers to a... More

Having been there several times, this is clearly one of the best restaurants in Paris that is an unsung hero among the Michelin guide (?seriously, one star?). Set in a fabulous old Chateau in the 8th arrondisement, the grounds are beautifully lit with amazing art installations. There are numerous rooms, each beautifully designed in an understated fashion. We chose the... More

Why just one star? It was my first visit and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The way you are greeted, seated and served is outstanding. The right balance between caring and not caring too much. I had the spider crab for started and then we shared a grilled veil chop. Rather basic but there in my humble... More

It was my first visit and I have been very surprised. When I arrived rue d'Artois I couldn't imagine a restaurant behind these high walls in number 20. Furthermore when I walked in the park at night I saw only some lights at the back of a large garden. There was Apicius which occupies a 19th century mansion hidden behind... More

We have been going to Apicius since its early days. We love Chef Vigato's cooking and believe it is one of the best (if not the best) in Paris. We had not come to Paris fro a few years and was sad to see that Michelin had taken away one of the stars. We booked a lunch as soon as... More

Incredible meal in a fantastic setting. The food was on point and the service was top notch. Don't forget the dessert as the soufflé is the best I've ever had.

After years of coming to Apicius on our yearly Paris visit, it is still my #1. Why? It's the food, but more it's about the people. They remember us every year and treat us like friends. Wine list is fabulous......the patio, the amuse bouche, the decor, the chef.....I am in love with it all. It is a Michelin star restaurant,... More

Beautiful building, very romantic to walk into the courtyard and into the building. Nice bar to wait in, on this day the bartender looked just like Gaston from Beauty and the Beast but was a wizard with the cocktails, very complex with fresh ingredients, probably the highlight. Restaurant room itself was nice enough, service phenomenal - loved our head waiter.... More

We had a lovely lunch at this beautiful chateau. The space at Apicius is worth a visit at its own. I'm not giving it 5🌟 because of the level on the vegetarian option. I had specifically noted that I was a vegetarian in the booking request which they obviously had NOT prepared for. One of my courses was a bowl... More

We went there for lunch and the food, the service and last but not least the desert you have to try it. You will find mostly business people for lunch but i would also say it is nice for dinner.
